Hi All
I am 8 days late, after our first month of TTC. I'm 33 years old.
I have had pains in my lower right side, similar to ovulation pains, for about 2 weeks. I'm not sure if this is anything to do with my bad lower back though (referred through? Is that even possible 5 weeks after I injured it?!). Firstly, I wanted to go for an XRAY or MRI for my back but cannot until my period comes (I don't want it to really!) but my period is nowhere to be seen (!) and 3 negative tests. I have had very slight nausea, usual light period cramps and my boobs are a bit sore, no spotting, no headaches.
Could it be an EP, or too early to feel these pains in my side? Will the doctor do a blood test this early? I suppose I could have missed a cycle but would I get cramps if this were the case?
Feeling anxious because of this pain in my side. It hurts most when I fold over/brings knees to chest like it's compressing something.
Hoping to get to the doctor this week
Confused
Thanks

Should have added that my cycles are usually 31 days and regular...

Have you recently stopped the pill or hormonal contraception? That can sometimes affect your cycle going back to normal.

Did you definitely ovulate? It could be you ovulated later this cycle or haven't ovulated yet.

My advice is to see a GP, if anything they should be able to check for ectopic and/or put your mind at ease

Unlikely to be ectopic or pregnancy related as you've had negative tests but you should see a doctor for any ongoing pain. Sounds like maybe a little cyst or something.

Hi VenusStarr
No haven't been on pill for about 7 years. I usually feel when I ovulate, and it seemed pretty on time this month - I get ovulation pains and my discharge is egg white etc.
xx

I wondered if I just don't have enough hcg yet, for it to show on the test, but from what I have read a cyst sounds quite possible. Would it hurt consistently for a couple of weeks? Could a cyst stop ovulation?
