I'm due to have a laparoscopy in August. To check for endo and to try to find out the cause of my mc's Was due to have one in November but found out I was pregnant so I cancelled the procedure, then unfortunately I miscarriaged. I am at a loss whether I should try this cycle then hold off, because with my luck I'll find out I'm pregnant days before the op is due to take place again. Would you carry on trying up until the procedure or try this cycle and if no bfp then stop till after the op. My thinking is if I find out I'm pregnant after this cycle at least by just before my op I'll know if the pregnancy is viable. I'm just so conflicted it goes against everything for me to waste time but at the same time I can't wait again for this op. Sorry if this is in the wrong place!

I would wait until after the op, I had to delay IVF for 6 months to have a lap and I was so impatient to get going, when they did the lap I had really severe stage 4 endo with hydrosalpinx in both tubes leaving me at higher risk of miscarriage and ectopic, it was a long 6 months but glad I waited until I was in the best position

I would just go for it personally, but it'd a very personal decision

It's difficult because I went back to square one. I had to be referred again to be seen the whole process started again. I think I'll try this cycle and if I'm not pregnant just wait until the op. I really don't know.

Leave as is, they make you do a pregnancy test the day of the op so they'd identify if you were pregnant.

I got pregnant the month after having my lap.

I wouldn't OP. If you have had multiple miscarriages there's a strong possibility if you conceive this cycle you will just miscarry again. Let them take a look first so you can make a plan so that your next baby sticks

I'd probably wait @OhDiddums. I had a mmc in April (think we may have spoken before). I'm under a fertility clinic and had a hsg booked in this cycle so we weren't allowed to dtd before the procedure. I've found taking a month off has been good for me as I'm not tracking anything. After 18 months ttc I don't know what cycle day I'm on.

Hope you get some answers soon Flowers

I'm booked in for a lap on 21st.

My consultant didn't tell me to stop trying, I ovulated last week so will know before the op will go ahead.

I'm going private so if pregnant we'll just reschedule.

I'm going for a cyst removal though
