Hello all, has anyone used vitex to regulate their cycles and if so was your experience positive or negative? Thanks!

I have been using it since I came off birth control last June. I started it in October 2018 and it regulated me to where I finally ovulated in November (I didn’t ovulate at all from June to November). I’ve read you should only be on it for 3 months at a time so I try to take a month off. So far I’ve only had 1 month I didn’t ovulate and it was the month I didn’t take it. My cycles have been 27-30 days on it.

Thank you, that very helpful. I was worried it might stop me from ovulating.

So it worked the first month I tried it!

@beth821 congrats Smile Could you give me some tips about how often you took it/ which brand etc? I’m ttc #2 and my cycles currently average 44-52 days. I’m not convinced I’m ovulating either although I did get a solid smiley on a clear blue this month. Thanks in advance!

I was a bit scared to take it, so only took 1 tablet (400mg) daily from first day of period until ovulation then stopped. My cycles were averaging between 22 and 34 days before but I think I ovulated pretty much in day 14 that month. Good luck! Xx
