Hi all , me and my partner are very excited of having our first child together - I really aren’t interested in ovulation charts for me I’m very straight forward - take folic acid and vitamins three months before the coil is taken out - have sex normally - take cool out continue to have sexy normally and do a test now and again - is it just me who believes in this? Because my partner is getting very anxious about it all suggesting I wait for periods- do ovulation charts and I’m thinkong is this a military operation or are we going to have fun and enjoy the journey of getting pregnant? I’ve told him I’m happy to go to the gps for consultation but that’s as far as I go - I think I’m so Blazay as I’m medically trained ( I won’t name my profession) but any advice please?:)

I don't think it's abnormal to feel relaxed about it. I had 3 DC without temping or anything. Fell easch time easily. Now I'm 40 and time is running out I want to maximise my chances each month.

Absolutely. Being relaxed about it is fantastic.

I was very relaxed for the first few months, but with every negative result and arrival of AF it gets harder and harder to stay relaxed. No need to jump in with Ov charting etc yet.. but it may be something you decide to start keeping track of if you need to in months to come. Although I hope you are lucky and get a positive quickly!

I'm 29 and have been TTC for over a year. Baby number 2. First pregnancy was a happy accident in my early 20s. I thought I would be 'easier' to fall pregnant than it has been. 🙁

Aw fingers crossed for you 🤞 I think a compromise might be to try naturally and if it’s becoming an issue after a few months I would go down the route of using charts etc- I really appreciate the advice thanks all!Smile
