TMI PHOTO! Implantation bleeding or something else?

Hi Everyone

I'm currently around 10-11DPO. I had a positive OPK last Monday afternoon and on the Tuesday too.

I'm so sorry for the gross pic but I was totally shocked when I went to the toilet a few hours ago and seen this weird brown discharge in my knickers. To me it looks far too brown coloured (😷) whereas I thought implantation bleeding was either pinkish mucus or dark red blood? At least that what I'd expect?

When I wiped there was nothing at all on the tissue too which I found really strange. Seeing something like that in my knickers I expected there to be something there when I wiped too.

I don't want to test as I'm not due on til Monday or Tuesday and I personally think it's too early to test for me. I have felt off recently but I am trying not to symptom spot. And as of yesterday I came down with a horrible cold which got really bad overnight so feeling shit today😶.

As far as I'm aware I've never seen something like that come out of my vagina before, so I'm also worried that brown coloured discharge could be a sign of something else if not implantation?

Let me know what you think and what your implantation bleed was like if you did have one.

I don't think that looks like implantation tbh just old blood

I've never once 'spotted' before my periods due (I'm due on in 3-4 days) so this is completely unusual for me.

I've only experienced 'old blood' on the last day or so of my period as well as during pregnancy (I've been pregnant before, no baby to show for it though). When I have old blood it's always very very dark brown with a tinge of red in it.

The discharge in my knickers this morning was more of a medium brown shade. If that is old blood wouldn't that possibly equal implantation as implantation bleeding often happens a couple days after implantation (therefore old blood)?

God Knows. I'm still 100% grossed out by it that's all I do know!

I had brown blood before my BFP last month (sadly ended in MC) at around 9/10 DPO- I got pissed off as I thought I was spotting before AF but it didn't arrive and I got BFP at 12dpo so I put it down to implantation. Fingers crossed 😊 x
