OPK as pregnancy tests????

Has anyone used OPK as pregnancy test?

I’ve just got this positive OPK on 13dpo?

I've read that OPKs also pick up HCG but I'm sure I've also read somewhere you can get a LH surge before AF.

Is AF due soon?

That does look pretty strong so fingers crossed it's hcg it's reading

They pick up LH all month so they can show positive when you're not pregnant (because you always have some LH in your system) BUT they do also pick up high levels of HCG and that's pretty dark for LH at 13dpo so it definitely could be good news! Good luck x

There can be a LH surge before AF for some women but with an OPK that dark at 13dpo I'd be quietly confident of a BFP

AF is due today!

I had a chemical pregnancy last month so I promised myself I wouldn’t test until after AF was due.

Yep I did. I got a positive OPK on CD 28 the next day I done a clear blue digital and got 2-3 weeks

I’m nervous! this is the last month we’re going to TTC because we’re getting married and don’t want to be pregnant for the wedding.

Why don't you test on a HPT instead of a OPK??

I haven’t got any HPTs at home, after my chemical pregnancy last month I didn’t want the temptation of testing early!

Well two days ago I got a very strong line on an opk at 12dpo as I wanted to poas but had no pregnancy test in and I had heard you can get strong lines with opk when pregnant. After posting on here some people confirmed they had positive opks when first pregnant but some people said they had them when not pregnant.
Anyway yesterday did a frer and got a positive so it was true for me but I know that's not the case for everyone.
