Ovulation and Flo app

Hi, quick question regarding ovulation

I've been using the Flo app along with ovulation sticks for little over 12 months now, and it has seemed to be pretty accurate when predicting my periods and ovulation.

I usually ovulate somewhere between day 15 and 19, I think only one cycle a few months back was a little off and I ovulated on day 14. So all in all pretty regular.

However, on this cycle Flo predicted ovulation to occur on D15. I used the Ovulation strips pretty regularly (and inputted the results into Flo) and got a positive ovulation test on D17 evening (they were negative in the days leading up to and earlier that day). CM would also support ovulation was imminent. Inputted this into Flo and it did change the predicted day of ovulation but only pushed it to D17. Now I'd have thought ovulation was more likely to have occurred on D18-19??

Just wondered whether others had experienced similar or had any thoughts?

I'm still trying anyway but you know how easy it is to get fixated on numbers and timings Smile

I use Ovia and not Flo

Does Flo usually record the day of your posture OPK as the date you ovulated?

I would also assume I most likely ovulated day after positive OPK especially if the positive result was in an evening

That's the odd thing, every cycle before when I've put in I've got a positive OPK it's predicted ovulation on the day after. It's just this cycle where it's kept it on the same day.

I'm inclined to go with ovulation having occurred on D18.

I would go for day 18 too

Sometimes Ovia can be a bit strange and other than checking you’ve put all the correct info in I’m not sure what you can do
