Too early for symptoms at 3DPO?

Hi All,

I'm 34 with diagnosed PCOS and on my first cycle TTC. I've been using Ovia to track my periods (which are regular) for 8 months now, but can't rely on the apps predictions re ovulation due to the PCOS and my long (average 36 day) cycles.

However, as I'm on holiday with DH at the moment (without OPKs or thermometer), I decided to go with the apps prediction that I ovulated 3rd June. We DTD 2nd, 3rd & 4th and I've noticed a couple of things over the past 2 days - yesterday I was having twinges beneath my ribs on the left hand side, they came and went throughout the day. Today, the twinges continue along with a one-off stabbing pain beneath my rib that made me double over for a second. As well as that, I've felt a couple of light pains/twinges in my lower abdomin on the left hand side to.

I'm assuming that 3dpo is far too early to be noticing any symptoms of implantation, etc. assuming I did ovulate?!

I only mention it as I've never suffered with any kind of period pain/cramps, etc. So not sure what they feel like to be honest. Plus, AF isn't due for another 9 days.

I'm looking to you ladies for your opinions/experience really as I'm a first timer and complete novice!

TIA x

3dpo is too early for symptoms.
Could it be that you are only just ovulating now and what you are feeling is actually ovulation pains?

Hi @tessiegirl, it may well be! Although I've never felt these sensation ever before. You're probably right and I'm just over thinking things. Thanks for your reply x
