Is there LH in your system after your surge?

Hi,
Think I am 5 dpo as I had my surge Saturday morning.
After a couple of days of no second line at all, this was my OPK from this morning.
I also had some discharge with a slightly reddish tinge when I wiped this morning but it’s probably unrelated.
Thanks :)

Yes I believe very small amounts can stay in your system. If ovulation tests are used to check for pregnancy they need to be quite dark apparently. I would wait another 5 days and use a pregnancy test. It could be something as you say it went clear, but could be nothing too and you don’t want to get your hopes up.

I believe it's always present in your system. Just gets stronger as your body gears up to ovulate.

I wouldn't rely on them to check for pregnancy though.

Oh no, I’m not using to detect pregnancy.
I’m just trying to get more in tune with my cycles as they average about 50 days and up until Saturday I had no idea at what point in my cycle I ovulate (if I did even ovulate-fingers crosses).
Thanks for your help guys :)

Ah ok.

If you had your surge on Saturday this isn't ovulation. It means you will ovulate within 12-36 hours from that date. Sometimes you can miss the surge (some people opk 2/3 times a day)

So you may not have ovulated until Sunday or Monday so you'll max be 3/4 days dpo. Also ovulation can take up to 24 hours.

Another indication is the increase in cervical mucous. I noticed mine on Monday so jumped partner (🙈)Monday night. also all day Tuesday I had pains in my lower tummy which I put down to ovulation.

I think the more you watch for the signs you
Definitely become more aware of what is happening in your body.

Good luck ❤️

You can also get a surge before AF too. But yes I believe LH is present in your urine.

Good luck 🤞🤞
