Confused about dates - help!

Hi everybody...I'm a bit confused about something and wondering if anybody could shed any light.

Last month, I was convinced I had fallen pregnant. Had lots of symptoms. I then came on my period on 14th May so I just assumed I wasn't. However, this period was a lot lighter than usual and only lasted 3 days.
I did do a few tests anyway just to be sure and all of them came back as a BFN.

This month, we tried again and I am roughy 10dpo. Again, lots of symptoms. I did a clear blue digital this morning and it came back as 1-2 weeks pregnant!! A few threads that I have read actually say that 1-2 weeks on a digital means I am actually around 3-4 weeks. This is what is confusing me - does this mean I conceived last month or this month? And was my "period" on the 14th May actually a period or was this implantation bleeding?

I'll of course be going to the doctors soon but it's frying my brain so I am hoping someone could help me out and shed some light on the matter!

Thanks in advance 😊

1-2 weeks pregnant will be from date of conception.

When a pregnancy is being dated it is taken from your last period (adding on 2 weeks) even though you're not actually pregnant yet.

Once you get your 12 weeks scan it was be dated more accurately.

Congratulations ❤️
