Thanks @purplefig yeah I guess that's what I'm asking - and suspected I knew that really! Thanks for replying anyway! Just feels like there's a chance but think by Monday I'll have another confirmation of bfn at that point so go ahead with appt unless something has changed by then!

ELW85 · 06/06/2019 08:37

@LokiCat - thank you so much, I’m hoping I get a positive today as I’ve gone to a flashy smiley but it’s taking its sweet time!!
Fingers crossed for you that your temp keeps going in the right direction (I’m sure it will) :)

@purplefig @flapjackered - so excited for you both for tomorrow! Got a good feeling about it and sending you lots of positive vibes!

MrsEG · 06/06/2019 08:45

@purplefig DH bought me a little selection box of fancy bath salts for my birthday so I used one of them that was full of fresh lavender - nearly passed out in the bath!!
I have such a good feeling for you and @FlapJackered tomorrow - call it women’s intuition!! Can’t wait to check these threads in the morning - ladies if you can make sure you test before 8am so I can see before I leave for work haha!

Appointment is at 10, should only last an hour. I’m glad it’s early! Just getting ourselves sorted for it now. DH laughed at me last night as I was shaving my legs ‘You’ll do that for a gynaecologist but you never do it for me’ 🤷‍♀️

ValidUser · 06/06/2019 08:46

In a rush to work. Will reply properly later.
Good luck @MrsEG!

So my trigger positives don't seem much lighter. Could mean nothing, could be good.

Left to right yesterday's and today's.

@purplefig 😂😂
I have got a lot of work on today (she says procrastinating on mumsnet 😂) so hopefully that will distract enough!
Then off this weekend to London for some parties and then to Champneys for a couple of nights, I can't wait! It will be good commiseration or celebration!
I love a good Epsom salt bath!! 🛁

@LokiCat 😂 🍇
Sorry about the hayfever it's the worst. My DH suffers from it but I have semi-banned him from antihistamine because apparently it's bad for the swimmers! 🤧

@granddesigns I don't think you can be sure you're completely out until you test the day af is due. I would hold on to your appointment as long as you can. What day is the appointment and what day is af due? Maybe you can test just before the 48 hours notice time?

FlapJackered · 06/06/2019 08:53

@MrsEG @ELW85 I love you ladies! ❤️Thank you for your good vibes! I really don't know, I do just feel like af could turn up any moment. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Lottiepink · 06/06/2019 08:58

@FlapJackered I'm good thanks 6dpo and feeling ok about everything. I've just decided I'm not gonna be pg, and then I don't get my hopes up 😂 🤞🏻 for tomorrow!

@ValidUser loving the chart!

@purplefig I'm with you on the frer's, I've never done one either 🤣 fingers crossed for you tomorrow too 😊

Bettythecat · 06/06/2019 09:05

Just trying to catch up on all these messages but it's hard- I know it's being said before but you girls (a) are hilarious and (b) chat SO MUCH!! 😂😂 love it.

@FlapJackered I used to have that problem with temping- would be taking my temp at random points in the night and then not sleep because I was so worried about waking up at the right time 🤦‍♀️. I ended up buying OvuSense which is like a little egg thing you pop in your vajay which takes your temp. It's amazing because doesn't matter when you wake up or when you go to sleep or how often you wake up in the night. Made such a difference to my sleep. Definitely do the ankle weights idea!! You deserve that referral girl!!

@MrsEG happy belated birthday and good luck with your appointment today. Let us all know how you get on.

@granddesigns I think as the others have said you can't be 100% until the day of af. I got a BFN on a cheapie (but which said would tell me 4 days before my period) on the Monday before my BFP on a FRER on the Thursday so just shows!

cupcakesandglitter · 06/06/2019 09:10

Good Morning ladies ❤️

Ooh @ValidUser fingers crossed they start getting darker!!! Xx

@FlapJackered I'm so excited for you 😊 Fx for tomorrow morning!!!! Xx

@MrsEG 😂😂😂 bless him, needs must and all that 😂😂

@LokiCat I'm with you on the hay fever, isn't it horrible 😩my eyes and nose get suuuuuper itchy too and my eyes water so much it always ruins my makeup!! X

@granddesigns sorry I'm not sure either - I'm on CD37 and neither AF or BFP for me, it really varies massively! X

So CD37 for me and no AF... put a pad on last night because I was sure she was coming and I had some cramping... turns out I just needed the toilet 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ TMI HERE, I've actually been crazy constipated too, but I'm usually very frequent, going at least 2/3 times a day... I've been going maybe once every two days? Just can't seem to be able to 🤷🏻‍♀️

FlapJackered · 06/06/2019 09:21

@MrsEG good luck for the appointment! I hope you get some answers and reassurance. ❤️
😂 at shaving your legs for the gynaecologist! I was exactly the same!

@Lottiepink that is a good way to look at it, I try that and then I get one symptom that is different and it goes out of the window 😂

Thanks @Bettythecat I actually ordered the Ava for that reason but then had a wobble about the cost of it and sent it back. 😬 It's only at this time of the month I get crazy about the temping the rest of the cycle it is not on my mind so much.
How are you getting on?

@cupcakesandglitter Thanks lovely! Not feeling overly optimistic! But still in the hope zone 😂 🤞🏻

FlapJackered · 06/06/2019 09:22

@cupcakesandglitter it's all about the Pruney! Smoothie with lots of prunes in! Works like a charm! 👌🏻

FlapJackered · 06/06/2019 10:03

Just talking to myself at this point as you can tell my huge amount of work is doing a great job of distracting me (the down side of working from home!)
LOOK HOW MANY FRERS I HAVE! 😂😂😂

ELW85 · 06/06/2019 10:07

@MrsEG - I hope your appointment has gone well :)
And maintenance is hard, so I understand being hairless for the appointment and not DH, haha!

ELW85 · 06/06/2019 10:08

@FlapJackered - love to you, too 😃
And that is a wonderful collection!

purplefig · 06/06/2019 10:26

@ELW85 thank you lovely! Fingers crossed for a positive for you today.

@MrsEG Ooooo lavender salts sound divine! Thanks so much for the good vibes. I for one will no doubt be updating this thread at my new wake-up time for 6am haha. But yes, will definitely try and do before 8am. Glad your appointment is early and not too long - let us know how you get on. Also LOL at DH's comment. I'm exactly the same. Shave for my accupuncturist but not for my husband haha.

@FlapJackered Ah that sounds like a FAB weekend. As you say, if bfn it'll totally take your mind of it and if bfp...well, what a way to celebrate! I've got friends down tomorrow for the weekend, so that'll be a nice distraction if AF does show up. I must say, I feel like you and that AF could just show up any moment. Trying to remember that temp still high so unlikely today. It doesn't help that my cycles are so varied - from 27 days to 36. OMG YOU HAVE SO MANY FRERS!!!!! I'm going to go out at lunchtime and get one. Does anyone else still feel like a naughty teenager when they buy a pregnancy test in a shop?! Or am I just ridic?

@Bettythecat OvuSense sounds...interesting! Might consider if no luck this cycle as the sleep disruption is real. How're you getting on lovely?

MrsEG · 06/06/2019 10:54

Hi Ladies, just finished at the clinic (literally in the car being driven home) and of course I’m like, must update the girls!!

Appointment was brilliant. The consultant is also the leading recurrent miscarriage consultant in all of Manchester (which I knew) and I mentioned this upfront, that I’m less interested in whether I’m fertile and want to understand what’s going on.

She said she can see no obvious reason why it is happening, but ordered all of my blood tests (12 in total!! Had to use two veins) there and then; it was an eye watering £800 in total but she then told me that the only reason she wanted to do this today was for speed - NHS waitlists for tests and then results can take up to three months. I go back in 4 weeks for full results and a plan - she is then going to take me on as a patient at her NHS clinic for any follow up and even gave me her personal mobile number for any issues ♥️

She has advised avoiding TTC until the results but said if it happens it happens and to just call her immediately. She also said when (no ifs!) I am pregnant again she will see me from 5 weeks and do at least bi-weekly scans at her clinic.

I just feel so assured that something is happening! Have one massive dead arm but a happy face :)

MrsH497 · 06/06/2019 10:56

Morning ladies.
@MrsEG hope your appointment goes really well
@ValidUser keeping everything crossed for you!

Feel crampy today hard not knowing when to test or when I'm really due AF. Feel better though today work just stresses me out!

Have a good day x

ELW85 · 06/06/2019 10:56

@Purplefig - thank you so much!! And yes!! I feel like I’m getting judged whenever I get a test, like I have to justify myself “this is PLANNED people, it’s ok!” 😂
Ooh - my book arrived today so we can be book buddies, haha!

ELW85 · 06/06/2019 10:59

@MrsEG - I’m so, so happy for you that your appointment went so well.
She sounds absolutely amazing and so with the investment!
You sound really positive, and I’m glad it was such a good experience after everything; you really needed and deserved that! X

starkid · 06/06/2019 11:08

@MrsEG - so glad your appointment went well and has made you feel so positive you are being looked after from now on Smile

I know I'm starting to sound paranoid/hypochondriac, but my left ovary is still hurting today, so all day yesterday, especially so during sex, and still today? I've put some heat on it to try and help ease the pain. Have looked up that it might be a cyst? At least am having a scan tomorrow so couldn't have been timed better for me to suddenly have more issues than normal Confused

Bettythecat · 06/06/2019 11:09

@purplefig I'm good thanks lovely. I'm still pretty free of symptoms (5 weeks today) just sore boobs really and some other minor symptoms which are more likely to be in my head 😂. The symptom spotting doesn't stop when you get a BFP! 🙄 did a CB digital test today and it said 3+ so it's actually made my day really. I know exactly what you mean about buying pg tests I feel the same! I hold them down and then shove them in my bag as quick as I can or get DH to buy them 🤦‍♀️

@FlapJackered that is a serious collection!! Really made me laugh!

When I had accupuncture the other day I hadn't shaved my legs and I could feel her rubbing her hand up my stubble! I felt so bad for her. She also has to touch my sweaty post work feet 🥴.

@MrsEG I'm so thrilled to read your post. Must be such a massive relief that someone is able to support you and help. The money is worth every penny to avoid the limbo of waiting. You're an amazing woman to stay so positive. You and your DH will be amazing parents soon I can feel it.

purplefig · 06/06/2019 11:10

@MrsEG YESSSS!!!! You so so sooo deserve this after everything you've been through. Well, not the double vein blood sucking and the dead arm, but the incredible sounding consultant and a positive plan. Love that she said 'when' not if too, like you said you clearly know you're fertile! And the bi-weekly scans sound so reassuring. Ahh I'm ruddy chuffed for you mate. I know £800 is a lot, but I think it sounds completely worth it tbh. Also just imagine what we've all spent on avas/vitamins/wanky smoothies over the last few months!! This TTC business isn't cheap!

@ELW85 Glad it's not just me! It doesn't help that I look about 12. Ooo let me know what you think of the book. We can geek out together about it!

FlapJackered · 06/06/2019 11:25

@MrsEG wooohoo! I am so so glad!!! She sounds amazing! What a relief to know you are in such good hands, I am sure they will get to the bottom of it now and it sounds like you will be well looked after when you get pregnant again. £800 is a small price to pay if it helps get you your baby!

@starkid it sounds like it might be a cyst, but if it is don't panic, I get them a lot and each time they have disappeared. In fact it might be one bursting if it is painful. They are very common.

@Bettythecat so glad to hear everything is going well! X

purplefig · 06/06/2019 11:28

@Bettythecat Glad to hear everything is going well! What's the next 'step' as it were? Do you have to see GP or do you wait for your midwife appointment? It's just dawned on me I'm so caught up with TTC I have no idea what actually happens once you get your BFP! Glad you're feeling symptom free so far....long may the lack of sickness last!

ValidUser · 06/06/2019 11:42

@MrsEG I'm so happy to hear that! X
