Hi šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I just wanted to start a thread to say hello. I’m 26 and me and my hubbers have decided to go for it...

I did not realise at all how obsessed I’d end up being! šŸ™ˆ His attitude is all ā€œif it happens, it happensā€ but I find myself googling literally everything now. I can’t be that chill... 😱

I only came off the pill on Day 1 of my last period, and I’ve never actually tracked my periods before(!) so I’m well aware it’s unlikely to happen this month, but I’m questioning everything now. I’m one week post-ovulation according to the ā€œtypicalā€ cycle but this wait for my period is killing me. Like, do my boobs always hurt this much? Do I feel sick cos I’m hungry orrrr? Was that a cramp or just a funny tummy? What if I have a short cycle? What if I have a long one?! 😫

Please tell me I’m not insane and this is all totally normal. I think my husband’s sick of telling me to relax! šŸ˜‚

Don't become obsessed over it. I know it's hard but it's the worst thing you can do.

I'm 23 and was only on the pill for 3 years and it still took over 18 months for us to conceive.

It takes 3 months for the pill to come out of your system completely so don't get your hopes up just yet.

Take your vitamins and relax - it'll happen when your body is ready x

I was hoping that was all just a myth! šŸ˜‚ it’s rubbish not being able to talk about it either with any of my friends too (I feel like that would just be so much pressure)

TTC number 1 for 6 months after coming off the pill after 10 years. Still trying :(
I’m the same about every single symptom.
You are not alone
Good luck :)

Unfortunately not but trust me it is SO worth the wait! My little girl is 3 weeks tomorrow and she's perfect!

You'll experience things that feel like pregnancy symptoms but it'll be your body getting used to not being on the pill again.
Then when pregnant you'll think every twinge and sniffle means something bad is happening šŸ™ˆ

But give it time and it'll happen for you - just take the time to enjoy it rather than stressing, honestly.

Good luck!

Aw @FutureMrsD I really hope it happens soon for you! You’ll have to let me know. Glad I’m not alone in my frustrations though šŸ˜‚

And yeah @HK2009 I will definitely try - all the articles I’ve read are so positive it almost makes you think it will just happen straight away. It’s nice to talk to others who’ve gone through it!
