Anyone else want to jump on board the July bus? AF has just arrived for me after being 2 days late!

Anyway here's my info:

AF/BFP due: 3rd July

Hoping this is our lucky month! Fingers crossed for everyone x

Does anyone use conceive plus? I’ve never tried it but willing to give anything a go, within reason lol.

@June1987 the lubricant? We have it. Only used it a couple of times so far. It's quite runny but I haven't used any others to compare it against. I get on with it x

@Sophieb15 cycle day 8😰 that sounds really early!
I usually get bad mid cycle pain, ever since being a teenager, which I've not had yet this month so I'm hoping I haven't ovulated yet.

When we've spoken about it, our plan is not to get too caught up in the whole TTC bubble and if it hasn't happened within 6 months or so then to get a bit more regimented. Being on here is sort of my escape/guilty pleasure, hence the name!

@Louise190 yes the lubricant. We don’t use any lubricant and didn’t to conceive our first but wondering if to get some. It’s conceive plus or pre seed but not sure which one to get?!

@June1987 I think I went with conceive plus because it's cheaper!

I got preseed but it makes it too slippery 🙈 I didn’t bother using it last month might try again this month for day after O when the EWCM is gone

Sorry I've been manic at work this week so haven't had much time to catch up.
I'm on cd4 now.... AF just finishing and I'm gearing up to start the OPKs & DTD. I started temping this morning too. Never done it before... just hope I'm doing it right!! X

@mumof1hants I definitely don't temp right as it's meant to be as soon as you wake up while still in bed but I'm already becoming a bit obsessed with knowing what's going on so my husband would tell me to chill out if he saw me temping haha! I get up and do it straight away in the bathroom and as it's always the same and around the same time it's not accurate but I get to notice a pattern so consistency is the key 😁

@Abi58 haha it's funny u say that!... my other half doesn't know! He's on early shifts at the moment... don't know what I'll say when he's not 😂 he'll think I'm nuts!! X

Officially on July bus now! Af appeared and ruined all last hope. Oh well onwards and upwards!!

Ok I caved and ordered a thermometer! I guess I'll be measuring bbt this month just to make me even more crazy!!

Also since a gave birth almost 20 months ago and after my period returned I had a 30 -34 day cycle but I started taking seven seas conception vitamins three months ago and the last two months I've gone back to a pre pregnancy 28 day cycle ... do you think that's a good sign ?

I think you go through a few stages when it arrives and the last stage is to gear up up for the next month.

That's brilliant if it's gone back to a 28 day cycle. We are taking the boots conception for him and her started taking them at the start of May. I literally have to remind him every day to take them like a child!!!

@mumof1hants What CD are you going to start OPK's?

@Abi58 My OH thought the Preseed use was crazy because we have never used anything like that in the last 9 years I tried temping with my LO's thermometer but I never saw any consistency. I think it has to be the BBT thermometer. It's very annoying you can't just buy one in the chemist and you have to order online.

I ordered some conceive plus for this month, we sometimes use other lube and heard that isn't good for the swimmers.
CD 3 for me, going slowwwww!

@Sophieb15 yes it definitely has to be BBT thermometer to show the pattern as sometime my temps are different by 0.03 which wouldn't be picked up by a normal thermometer.

I temped for a few months before trying to get the hang of it and i actually really like it. It's satisfying to confirm ovulation and that the ovulation tests are positive at the right times.

My cycles range from 28-34 says so it gives me peace of mind 😊

@Ginfizz90 id CD 7 too late to start temping? I've 8 OPK's left and really want to try only use 4 this month if I can so that I have 4 left next month if i need them (hopefully I won't) I'm in 2 minds whether to wait until CD 12 to start testing or whether to test on CD 10. I didn't O until CD 17 last 2 months but when I got pregnant on my daughter I must have ovulated on CD 12 because we on BD on CD 5 and 7 that month(It was after 3 years off BC(not using OPKS or actively trying but thought it would just happen so I had just given up that month and couldn't believe it when I got my BFP)

My cycles before my LO ranged from 28-34 as well so I was on CD 35 before I even tested. It's tough not knowing how long it's going to be. If you are confirming O are you getting AF 14 days after it every month??

Sorry to hear about AF @Jonesydocandjr I actually quite enjoy temping, I find it really interesting. Even though I have had a very confusing cycle, it is my first month temping and testing and I guess it's all a learning curve. I think it's definitely good to have regular cycles!

CD 5 here and still bloody spotting.

Does anyone have any more advice or theories that help conception? I've seen the pineapple discussion earlier on, so will definitely be doing that!

CD 8 tomorrow for me tomor so going to start DTD and try do every second day up until my positive OPK and then do those three days together if we are able 🙈

@Carley321 I only stopped spotting on cd 6 this month which is strange for me but I’m looking at it as a positive maybe my lining is getting thicker each month to help implantation..... 🤔
