bleeding 3 days before AF

Hi all,

wondered if anyone can give me some advice, I am not due for my AF till 6th this month, my periods are regular each month, AF arrives 6th of each month and cycle is 31 days.

Earlier I went to the loo and had light pink bleeding when wiping, this afternoon its more red in colour, I also have cramps lower than my normal period cramps. I heard stress can bring on a period earlier, I haven't been that stressed really, and onkly other thing I have done different is take antibiotics I finished the 3 day course of them beginning of last week but not read online that taking them can bring on an early period.

I did wonder is it an early preg symptom but so many different things online I am reading and some people saying if you are pregnant you should not have bleeding and cramps at the same time

I am very confused - my question is, can implantation bleeding be red? I read that some people have pink brown or red... I should just wait it out and see what happens but I panic at the smallest of things

If its red it’s most likely to be AF I’m afraid. I wondered the same a few months ago and was advised the same.

I normally run like clockwork and am never early so I was hopeful as you were. If it’s getting heavier not lighter that would be a sign it’s AF too.

update on this - bleeding some through night enough to fill pad so it msut just be early period... confused.

I was similar situation in May. Af arrived 5/May.

I forgot to opk until day 12 or 13 and was negative so thought I'd either missed or was too early.

Then on cd19 I got light bleeding which lasted for 3 days. Was excited to think it was implantation.
I was also on holiday and when I returned at the weekend I did a test and was bfn!

So I just took that day as af and new cd1. I've lots of ewcm so ovulating just now and gutted that my body playing tricks on me ❤️
