2 missed periods - negative test

Hey,

So I am due on my period on the 17th of each month and have never missed a period , it always comes on time too. I was on the pill until April when I missed my period so I didnt retake my pill thinking I may be unusually late . But no it still didnt come and didnt in may either. I have done a clear blue pregnancy test and also the strip ones both saying negative. I called my doctors every day last week and couldn't get through to book an appointment. I know your not all doctors but has anyone experienced anything similar? Did you end up being pregnant or not? (I am going to keep calling my doctors to get an appointment, I am just going out of my mind. I would love a brother or sister for my son)

It's crazy common to have delayed cycles when coming off birth control. They say to expect everything to be a bit crazy for up to a year.

If no period for another month, head to the gp who might give you some norethisterone to induce af.

My boyfriend's friend had five negative pregnancy tests over 3 months time (she missed her period each month) and it was only when she had an ultrasound did she find out that she was pregnant, the beginning of her second trimester. She had a healthy baby boy, even though her HCG was pretty much undetectable.

I'd try and get a hold of the doctors. Ask for a blood test and maybe an ultrasound. Sometimes birth control can delay it but then again I don't know anyone who has missed two cycles since coming off it.

I don't know anyone personally either who has, but it's not exactly an everyday topic... I've seen it countless times on these boards over the last few years though!
