5 days late for period

Hi, I am now 5 days late for my period on cycle day 34. I took a pregnancy test yesterday which came out positive (with a faint line) and took another clear blue digital in the evening which said “not pregnant” I am not sure what to think? I am having dull Aches in my stomach as well as unusual twinges, I have also NEVER been this late for my period. Any ideas ?

I've heard FRER tests are super sensitive! Tried one of those ??

I got a faint at 4 days late and a negative on a digital. Currently 25 weeks pregnant.

I don't trust the CB tests. Always stuck with the cheaper options.

@DeadDoorpost I've read a lot about not trusting CB! They're the only ones I've used so far, so off to wilko/boots tomorrow to purchase FRER! 😬🤞🏼

@Lovelijubbli that's the thing it's much easier with naked eye! Hopefully AF doesn't come and you're PG! What test is that one?

It’s just a Lloyd’s Pharmacy own one! I did it twice and both times very faint...I’ve had second opinions and definitely a line there but thinking how likely is it to be an Evap line ?

I'm currently a week late and got 3 bfn so far 😓. I am never ever late ever ( unless pregnant) if anything I'm always early by a few days. In the whole time of having periods I've never missed a period either. It's driving me crazy not knowing I just either want my BFP or AF to arrive. I'm Constantly on the loo checking haha. I'm due a major knee operation on Monday so really want to know before hand so I can cancel it if I am pregnant.

Guess we are both in limbo I hate this not knowing x

@Lovelijubbli would be very coincidental if they both end up being Evap! Unless those particular tests are common for Evap! Maybe try another brand like first response ? Instead of CB

@sazzle3 I know it’s horrible isn’t it , I was meant to have an operation yesterday but cancelled as was worried that if I was it would effect it...hate this not knowing feeling too. Not sure what to think as like you I’ve never missed a period and have never been late, especially 5 days 😞 do you have any cramping or twinges? X

@seli3025 I will do - not sure if it would be worth waiting until Saturday which would be a week late?

@Lovelijubbli maybe try that on Sat to be certain! But I hear so many stories of people being PG and get BFNs during being late and then finally they get the BFP as the hormone wasn't strong enough! Have you tested with morning urine?

@seli3025 I tested this morning and had another faint line but not stronger then the one I took yesterday! Only time will tell! Thank you x

@Lovelijubbli not really maybe the odd one or two but I'm suffering from a water infection ( which I have never had unless I'm pregnant ) I'm a full week late. I'm curious as to if anyone has been this late and it just took longer to get their BFP xx

@Lovelijubbli yeah mine always looked really faint, both times 4 days late and definitely pregnant.

@Lovelijubbli I've had faint positives on the Lloyds own ones. Wondered if ur was evap too... have u tried any other brands? X
