Struggling after mc

Hi all this is my first post..
Had a MC with first baby October last year. Periods have been off and on constantly since. I keep getting cramps and tenderness and no period and then constant bleeding. Went to doctor a couple of weeks ago and they said this can be normal as body went through a big hormonal change. They recommended leaving it for a year to let it go back to normal. They also booked me in for an ultrasound next week to check if I'm still ovulating. Everyone keeps saying it will happen but it's literally all myself and partner can think about. There's not much information about this topic online and have only seen a couple of threads on here, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks so much x x

I can't really give any advice with the whole bleeding etc after Miscarriage but I didnt want to read and run.
I experienced one myself in March this year so I completely understand the whole being able to think of nothing else but getting pregnant again.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I can totally understand the feeling of thinking of nothing more than being pregnant again. I've been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. The first time I got pregnant it took 6 months of just waiting and seeing it ended in mc. After that it took over a year for me to get pregnant again, again another mc. It then took another 2 months and I fell pregnant again. This was 2 months ago and I am trying again. I'm using ovulation kits to help time things and they really do help. I'm to the point where I probably need a break from trying and time to just pick myself up again but the thought of missed cycles is more depressing. I understand that it's hard the only advice I can give is try not to put all of your focus on ttc. Try to plan other things to look forward to each month and remember it's okay to have an off day and wallow but it's not okay to keep wallowing. I allow myself a couple of days a month to feel sorry for myself but after that I get myself back together and move onto the next cycle. Try to put all of your energy into different things otherwise ttc can become the be all and end all and trust me it's a downward spiral and it's difficult to get out of.
