When is cd01 after miscarriage

I passed my pregnancy early hours of this morning and now I am just spotting, how do I know when cd01 is, would it be today or when I get a bfn on a test

Personally I waited for my first true period after the mc to count as CD1. I had 3 weeks of mc bleeding then 2 weeks later had a period. I have heard of women getting pregnant again without a period though.

You won’t be able to do a good calculation unless you wait for a period. That doesn’t mean you can’t get pg without that, but if the dates matter to you then waiting will be easier.

So sorry for your loss @Daisyboo70. I counted the day I passed my baby as day 1. I bled for another 5 days. I did also pass some more tissue during that time but very lightly bleeding, so you might find it's stop start.

I saw a gynecologist a week later and she gave the go ahead to try again. We haven't managed to conceive yet. On my second period since the miscarriage.

Look after yourself. It's hard because there's a real desire to be pregnant again and I've put a lot of pressure on myself and have felt awful. Also don't be surprised if you suddenly start crying. It happened at random times for me weeks later (and still does). Take care xx

I had to go for an internal scan to make sure everything had passed as well. That wasn’t nice.

I remember that uncontrollable urge to be pregnant again it takes over everything. It will happen for you all, my rainbow baby is almost 11 now but I’ll never forget my mc.

I counted the day I passed tissue as day 1. Haven’t had a period yet (miscarriage was end of April) but going by OPKs I’ve just done that was about right, have got my peak fertility sign 2 days after the day I did on the cycle I fell pregnant. We’ve just started trying again straight away but you need to do what feels right for you. Take care
