What's happening?!

So I've been off the pill since August and my cycles have settled back into textbook 28 days. I usually do experience a couple of days spotting prior to AF, but I'm currently on CD23 and my FORTH(!!!) day of brown spotting... Wtf! TMI but I went for a wee yesterday and stayed sat on the toilet for about a minute after and felt a gush of wetness, looked down and saw/wiped red blood. That's only happened once and I went a bit dizzy/faint and metallic taste in my mouth. Rest of time it's been brown spotting. I'm not due on for 5 days, whyyyyyy 😭 done a few tests yesterday and day before, bfns! Booked a GP appointment but that's not until 5th June. Just want to vent and see if anyone has experience this x

You would be too early to get a BFP in my opinion. It sounds like a random odd period. They happen from time to time. I'm not sure your GP is going to be able to do anything, if I'm honest I'm not sure why you would go to the GP after one odd bleed?

It's strange, I wouldn't class this as a period. The spotting seems to have stopped now so I'd say it was 3 full days worth. Suppose I'll just have to wait and see if AF turns up next week! I'm not going to the GP purely because of this x
