When did you get static smiley again @DaniX91?

Yeah it might not happen today. Overtired children, it's a tense place today. Not sure I want to share yet!

@tisonlymeagain flashing on Friday morning then static Saturday morning. DTD Friday night, DP was home late from work Saturday so didn't manage it then (which I huffed about 😂) did it again yesterday morning and this morning so hopefully that'll have done the trick?
Are the kids off school all this week too? Maybe once they've gone to bed you'll be able to tell him!

JD154 · 27/05/2019 16:42

I know this is probably tmi but I know you ladies will offer advice....I seem to be suffering with a bad case of BV. I've had it numerous times before but it's really getting me down and I'm worrying it will affect my chances of conceiving 😓 I can smell it ALL of the time. I'm going to get some gel when I finish work to hopefully get rid but it seems to occur everytime I have sex which is really putting me off having it. Has anyone suffered the same? What do you do to prevent it coming back? Anyone know any magic tricks lol no symptoms other than the smell and increased watery discharge.

tisonlymeagain · 27/05/2019 17:26

Sorry @JD154 I can't help with that. Have you been to the doctors?

@DaniX91 Sounds like you've got all bases covered! Fingers crossed!

Well DP knows now, he's pleased, shocked I think but he's been truly lovely, I think I love him a little bit more now if that were possible.

Still peeing on sticks like nobody's business. Here are this afternoon's efforts at 11dpo. The FRER is slightly darker than yesterday and a nice clear positive from the ClearBlue which makes me happy as everyone says these are less sensitive. I'm almost surprised they are so clear so early.

At what point do I start believing it and stop peeing? I think I am nervous as AF still isn't due for a few days.

@tisonlymeagain so I feel thick asking🙈 but how many dpo am I classing myself as?

Aww that's lovely 😊 was this your 3rd cycle? I can't keep up ha.
Well I'd say u can stop peeing on sticks now cos you're definitely pregnant!

tisonlymeagain · 27/05/2019 17:43

It's hard to pinpoint without temping but I'd say most likely Sunday making you 1dpo today @DaniX91

Ha I'm soooooo nervous! This is worse than the 2WW. 8 weeks to wait for a scan

OP posts:
DaniX91 · 27/05/2019 17:47

@tisonlymeagain ok thanks ha. I'm thinking of testing a week come Sunday, if I can wait that long.
U could always get a private scan to reassure yourself. I'd have to!

tisonlymeagain · 27/05/2019 17:51

Well I might get the Harmony test done @DaniX91 but I think that's from 10 weeks and includes a scan. £400-500 though but because I'm 39 and will give definite answers on risks.

@tisonlymeagain Omg that is amazing! Congratulations! I've been busy with exam marking and just found the new thread there, sorry! Bet you're thrilled!

I should ovulate today and OPKs are getting darker but not quite there yet. Just DTD over the next few days to make sure.

DaniX91 · 27/05/2019 18:56

@tisonlymeagain I haven't heard of Harmony tbh. I know Window to the Womb do early scans for £59.
What number cycle is everyone on?

Roo3125 · 27/05/2019 20:41

@DaniX91 #2 here. Harmony isn't a scan, it's a test to check how healthy baby is and if there are any abnormalities etc.

You can get early reassurance scans but quite often they can be scary as the heartbeat doesn't show etc.

tisonlymeagain · 27/05/2019 21:11

Yeah @Roo3125 @DaniX91 it's to check for abnormalities. They do an ultrasound prior to the blood test though to make sure you're at the right gestation. They can also tell you if it's male or female but I wouldn't want to know anyway.

tisonlymeagain · 27/05/2019 21:11

Oh and I was cycle 2 @DaniX91

OP posts:
Roo3125 · 27/05/2019 21:23

@tisonlymeagain Were you using OPKs this cycle? So exciting for you!

I'm really hoping this is our month! Everyone has fallen so quickly on this thread!

DaniX91 · 27/05/2019 21:39

@Roo3125 this must be a lucky thread then! Fingers crossed it's lucky for us too 😊.
@tisonlymeagain cycle 2, that's great!

Roo3125 · 27/05/2019 22:43

Using different test strips this month! 🤔 and I don't rate them compared to last month's ones! (Top set is last month and you can see the clear positive 'peak' one).

The line definitely started to get darker today compared to yesterday... so I'm going to assume that I've ovulated as it's now gone light again. Weird how it's such a short window though?

Roo3125 · 27/05/2019 22:44

And my phone isn't uploading any photos! Oh well! 😂

tisonlymeagain · 28/05/2019 10:15

@Roo3125 Yes I was using OPKs and also temping. My temp has gone way up today so taking that as a good sign as it normally starts to decline if AF is on her way. Have attached my chart so you can what it's been like this month.

I think the window from your peak OPK is 12-36 hours @Roo3125. My peak line never got as dark as the control line but I was using ClearBlu e at the same time and got a peak on that around that time.

I think this has been a lucky thread so far @DaniX91 Maybe the mini-pill doesn't mess our bodies up as much as we think it might! Fingers crossed for you girls!

Talking to DP I think it implanted on Wednesday last week. We were at the pub having tea and I had a really sharp pain in my tummy, I thought it was wind but maybe not.

I just POAS again but it was pleasing to see the FRER has got darker. That's it now, no more POAS for me!

@tisonlymeagain looks like it's not as bad as expected.
Wow u can actually feel when it implans?! So how dpo did u feel that?

tisonlymeagain · 28/05/2019 10:39

Apparently so @DaniX91, I've seen lots of people say they've felt cramping etc have to say I never had done with previous pregnancies but on Wednesday I was complaining of sharp cramps when we were out. That would have been 5po.

OP posts:
DaniX91 · 28/05/2019 10:42

@tisonlymeagain it's actually intriguing isn't it!

Roo3125 · 28/05/2019 17:14

@tisonlymeagain That's really interesting! I wonder if it's the same for everyone and why it happens.

Do you girls reckon I've ovulated? 🤔
First photo is this month's OPKs.
Second photo is last month where there is a clear 'positive'.

Yesterday's tests seem to have went dark to light?

tisonlymeagain · 28/05/2019 17:54

Yeah @Roo3125 I think CD13 looks positive - remember it's 12-36 hours after so could actually be CD14

OP posts:
Roo3125 · 28/05/2019 19:53

@tisonlymeagain Fab, thank you! I'll just keep DTD for the next few days and hope for the best haha!

We didn't DTD the day after ovulation last month and I want to make sure we do this month. Wondering if that was our mistake haha!

Roo3125 · 28/05/2019 21:39

Hold the phone - that's DEFINITELY positive now! 🤦‍♀️🙄😂
