Can see a line when shine light behind

Hi,
Is it possible for a test to look negative but be such a faint positive that you can see the line when shine a torch through it? (Internet cheapie) I've done this a few times being hopeful and nothing but this time there appears to be something could be completely imagining it though! Help!

Very faint and blank to the eye can only see this when shine a light through....possibly the most awkward photo I have ever taken!
