Flo app changing cycle length

Usually I have a 28-31 day cycle but based on when I entered ovulation happened this month, the app has moved my predicted period date forward making it a 26 day cycle? Why does this happen and how will I know if my period is actually late if it’s saying it should be 26 rather than potentially a 31 day cycle?

sorry it has made it a 25 day cycle which is not accurate for me

Hi,
I'm in the same boat here. Last month AF came a week early and the data has changed all the apps! One says I'm due 30th May and another 2nd June! I'm going to try and wait it out till 30th. Then see what happens by the 2nd x

Your luteal phase (time between ov and period) stats the same each cycle. So if you ovulated early, your expected period would be early too.

So that would mean that my cycle prob won’t be regular then if it’s changes between what should now this month be a 25 day cycle and sometimes a 31 day cycle? Is that normal?

I think within 5 days is classed as regular. It shouldn't be an issue if you're tracking your cycle and know when your fertile week is. How are you confirming ovulation?

Not properly as I’m not temping or anything. But I get 3-4 days of bad ovulation pains and one day of EWCM so we dtd the whole week starting around 2 days before I usually get the pains until 1-2 days after.
