I know everyone hates these but its so all consuing when you think you are....

ttc this moth - irregular and long cycle so do not know what day i am on ( CD33)

Being an old hand at pg tests i had some in stock- did cheapo internet one VERY VERY VERY ridivulously faint crappy line

dug out clearblue digital and did a test without cartidge (digital bit) and it looked positive - good ish line

then panicked and rooted about for old cartidge which flashed for about 3 minutes before saying NOT pregnant

the actual test has two dark ish nes though

anyone expeienced similar can shed light on this!!!!!! (name changed BTW )

go out and buy 10 more of various types and do them all at once

GrimoireThief · 19/07/2007 10:13

Have you had a look at peeonastick.com? Have a vague recollection that the digital ones always have two lines which is why you shouldn't remove the digital bit - sorry..

Faint line on the other one though - don't they say a line's a line?? Fingers crossed for you!

FCH · 19/07/2007 10:15

Wait 24 hours and do it again - they all work at various levels of hormone so hang in there - fingers crossed!

chevre · 19/07/2007 10:17

pee on a stick explains the 2 lines on the digital ones. how faint was the line on the cheapy ones and how long did it take to appear.

If you followed the instructions on the cheapy ones & got positive results twice it sounds like it might be good news. I don't know how the digital ones work but it does sound a bit dodgy.

FWIW I used a cheapo one with ds & got a faint line but wouldn't quite believe it until I did one of the regular Clearblue ones - I should have just believed the cheapo one & saved the tenner for baby things.

Can you pop a test into the docs? You should only have to wait a few days & you could always do another cheapy test yourself tomorrow too.

Fingers crossed for you

TaLcYo · 19/07/2007 10:40

keeping fingers crossed for you,

the ultimate displacement activity! i think you should wait a day or two and do another cheapy test. good luck with the move.

jeez · 19/07/2007 17:07

chevre et al...we - went out and signed for house - spent afternoon in the sun in the park and then came home having nipped to boots to get first response test

arrived home and then realise only 2 drops early morning urine in a pipette - so did a wee anyway - ,......its positive

now quite pleased as an afternoon wee is less likely and it was 4.30 pm so !!! dp thinks he has 'supersperm' as it is the first month we tried this time!

early days ! but so much for clearblue
