Why would I have a faint OPK straight after period?

Sorry I’m new to this and it’s probably normal.
I’ve just finished my period, why would I have a faint OPK?
I thought you only had them when you were about to ovulate? My BBT dropped yesterday and has come back up this morning.
Any help would be very much appreciated :)

OPKs measure LH, which you produce all the time in different quantities. You look out for the surge which is indicated by the test line being at least as strong as the control. When you see this, you're likely to ovulate within the next day or so. 🙂
