@purplefig oh god yes the sex!! Although I will admit at the start it definitely became a chore for us and wasn't as enjoyable. Much better now though 😅 x

Awww @MrsEG I'm glad you've got his support, I can imagine it's a little easier to deal with for them because they don't physically feel what we do, but I'm glad they're open honest and understanding x

I did a little google earlier on, and it seems the bright green pee could be from your body getting rid of excess of one of the vitamins (I think it was B6 but not certain). So perhaps if you aren't having the bright green pee, you are simply using up all of that vitamin and don't have an excess, which makes sense
Probably explains why I don't have it, as I doubt I have an excess of any vitamins with all my issues 😂

@MrsEG - we smear preseed too! Unless it's going to be a quick one, then I squirt it up there too so all ready 😂 The things we talk about on this thread, hahaha

@purplefig - yeah it was pretty shitty having to wait so long still, but there we go, things are happening now at least! Could have done with knowing this might happen before the surgery so I was prepared/could see if it could be delayed, but again, no use moaning about it now... It's why I'm holding off on things like acupuncture for now too, as no point if it's blocked tubes. However if all the various tests come back clear, then I'll look into alternative therapies I guess!

Well this is new..... I'm cd12. I would usually ovulate today based on some previous cycles. I took some OPKs last night and they were a stark neg due to being so hydrated 😫 (my pee was see through!!) and there wasn't even a test line coming up.

So today I had mild pains down on left ovary and assumed I'm ovulating today. I had a temp drop this am too.

However just took these (at the exact same time - I took two as was convinced I had a dodgy batch) and they are a stark positive.

Was it a good job I tested again as I would have missed Ov (possibly) and stopped bding too early? or have I caught the surge on the way down?
Hmmmmm 🤔😂 time will tell!!

@starkid that makes total sense. I'm really in awe of your attitude, for what it's worth. I hope you get your tests arranged soon.

@cupcakesandglitter that's what I've found too. It went from quickly becoming a chore / source of annoyance, to being something we both look forward too now (most of the time ). All that sex has also got us both quite, er, attuned to one another. So at the very least, our sex life has improved even if we don't have a positive pregnancy test to show for it yet!

@Jessikka I am no expert, but I reckon if you had had left ovary pains and a temp drop today, I'd say those OPKs are on their way down. As I understand, temping is more accurate than OPKs which are more of an indicator? Still, probably worth keeping up with sex for a few more days!

@Mirana not a bore at all, it's really useful to know! I hope I have caught it, but will continue DTD to be certain (not complaining!)
Hope your GP appointment and she appreciated the OPK photos - I love looking at the line progress on my photos on Glow 😂

Re OPKs after loss - mine was an early mc (5 weeks) but I ended up trying straight away without waiting for AF to show up. I ended up counting the day I started bleeding as CD1 (it's probably not right) and started testing on CD15 got a positive OPK on CD20 my HCG levels were already at 30 by second day of bleeding so it went pretty soon.

@purplefig it does help a lot (along with having you ladies here). It helps that our DHs are best friends so we can vent about them together as well 😂
I agree with you about being able to laugh about things now however. It makes TTC so much easier and has brought us so much closer. He puts up with all my crazy TTC antics - love that man! 😊 He also just expects the legs up now. He put my legs up against the wall for me yesterday, shook his head and left for work 😂

Have you ladies all been okay using Pregnacare then? I was looking at getting it when we first started, but the reviews on Amazon freaked me out as many complained it messed with their cycle. I didn't want to risk it as my cycles are already very irregular so I just take the Superdrug folic acid and Vit D tablets.

Though I think it may be tomorrow after all as looking back at last few charts i have had months where I've had two temp drops! Day before and day of Ov.

Poor OH will have to be ready again tonight and tomorrow 😫 ... I've already bd three night in a row as I assumed I would Ov today! I'm worried I'm going to dry him out 😫😂.

I use much less pre-seed than recommend (1/3) and that's plenty! I don't know why they recommend using SO much.

@Jessikka - hmm see I wouldn't say they were positive, the test line isn't the same or darker than the control line. It's very close though, so I say test again this evening maybe around 6pm and 8pm to see if they get darker. I had pain in my ovary the same day I had a positive opk this cycle, presumably the day before ovulation. Pain in the ovary doesn't mean you are ovulating right there and then, it can happen before or after.

The Avawomen website says 'Even if mittelschmerz pain is associated with ovulation, evidence is mixed that ovulation pain happens at the precise moment of ovulation. The pain might happen before, during, or after ovulation, and there is no easy way to know how the pain you experience correlates to ovulation.'

Like you said, temping is probably more useful if you do that. But keep BDing and testing this evening, and you'll soon see if you just missed the positive opk or it's on its way still :)

@LokiCat I totally agree with you! Mine sometimes even holds my legs up for a bit, which never fails to make me smile. Re: pregnacare I didn't see anything about it messing with the cycles - I just saw the high reviews and a couple of miracle "omg I'm pregnant" messages and was like ADD TO CART.

@Jessikka It's difficult when it's not all totally straightforward isn't it? Who'd have thought it would be this ruddy complicated. I was laughing with my acupuncturist about this, saying how in school we were taught to be so careful and now I'm like: I've been having unprotected sex for NINE MONTHS what the hell?! I definitely think popular culture and the media make it seem like such an easy thing and it totally is for women, but it's also not abnormal for it to take way longer. I feel like I'd have saved myself a lot of grief if I'd known that going in. Instead I genuinely assumed I'd get pregnant on my first cycle

I'm going to DTD and act as though they're positive.

I took the first picture before ten mins I think.

The second was after. Glow rated them positive but god knows 😂

OH said he's happy to go tonight and tomorrow and hope for the best. we may have over done it this week 😫 so not sure if the spermies are at optimum level 😂

@purplefig tbh, the positive did outweigh the negative ones a lot, but I think I just got worried (whereas normally if there were that many positive reviews I'd be fine!).
I might order some as well then if so many you are taking them!

@Jessikka the latest OPKs you've added look very dark and positive to me! As Glow said to me 'do the dance for your baby!' 😂😂

@Jessikka - aha see these latest opks are definitely positive- like I thought it was just 'brewing'! So ovulation probably tomorrow. So I'd say, if your poor DH is up to it after 3 times in a row already, DTD again tonight then give it a rest for a day and maybe once more the day after (for luck haha)

got another week to wait to POAS. i work in a pharmacy so have been extra careful when going near certain loose tablets so that I don't break them which is generally the only potential safety issue for pregnancy. A colleague on mat leave told our manager a bit before 12 weeks but i really want to be avoiding having to do that if i can so i'm trying to be sneaky with my extra cautiousness.

Can I ask for you ladies who would usually get ewcm leading up to ovulation, has there even been a month where you didn't get any but still ovulated (confirmed via temps for example)? I know I'm probably being impatient but I'm cd16, flashing smiley faces on opk but very little cm yet, at least little of the ew variety. I think I ov either cd 18/19 or possibly 20/21. I usually get a few days of it though leading up.

Ladies, I did a bad thing this morning. Looking for my passport for work, and found where DH had stashed my FRERs. I’m only 11DPO and no symptoms but like a mad woman I did one. Am I crazy or is there a sniff of a line here?

Hoping as it settled fairly quickly after coming off BC the same should happen now.

@LokiCat I read online somewhere that you count the first day of the miscarriage as CD1 but I’m not sure how accurate that is 🤷🏽‍♀️ Google is currently my go to for advice! How did you know what your HGC levels were, did the hospital test these?
