Thanks for all the messages ladies. Dr here has confirmed my fears I've lost baby. HCG is down to 56. I'm heartbroken can I come back here when I'm recovered? X

@lauraloop @ELW85 Just looked at my BBT today (9dpo) and there's been a fairly significant drop - so think I'm probably out. At least it means I can put any symptoms out of my mind!

Hoping this doesn't mean my LP is getting shorter.

@DayDreamer1707 - massive congratulations!! So, so happy for you 😊

@dahlia123 - I wouldn’t write it off at 9DPO :) you can have a temp dip in your LP (and sometimes implantation dips!)
How long are your cycles and LP usually?

Any BBT experts in the house? It's my first cycle and temp this morning looks like a textbook ovulation rise to me. But I had a couple of drinks last night + woke and drank water - could that have caused such a big spike?! I know I will find out tomorrow as it'll either drop or stay up, but I'm impatient!!

@ELW85 cycle is usually between 28 and 32 days. With ovulation on CD 15, and LP between 11 and 15, it is possible, just think I only DTD once and it was prob too early. Think that this cycle in predisposed to negativity but I should try and have a little hope!

Morning ladies. I almost hesitate to post bad news on such a positive thread but I’m afraid I woke to huge amounts of bleeding this morning, bang on 5 weeks. I am going to the EPU today but as a formality more than anything, as this will help my referral - this is my third MC in a row in less than one year.

I don’t really know what this means now, but I’d imagine I won’t be TTC for a while whilst we have all the necessary tests etc. So I’ll likely be bidding these pages farewell for now. But I just wanted to wish all of you ladies the very very best of luck in your journeys - please don’t let my story frighten anyone it looks like I am just one of the extremely unlucky ladies to find herself in the 1%.

@purplefig could be! I get a spike when I drink but not that high. It's weird how much I look forward to my morning temps on some days 😝

@MrsEG oh I'm so, so sorry lovely lady. This is totally heartbreaking and I honestly can't imagine how awful it must be. For what it's worth, my nan had multiple recurrent miscarriages and went on that have my mum, so this isn't the end of the road. (I hope that doesn't seem glib). Big hugs. Hold on to your DH and come back here whenever you're ready. xxxxx

@Purplefig - how many hours sleep did you get before you did your temp? You need a minimum of 3 hours consecutive sleep to give an accurate reading. But what I would say is that it lines up with the EWCM so could certainly be indicative of O!

@dahlia123 - LPs don’t change in duration (on the odd occasion, it will move by 24 hours only). So, if you have an LP of 12 days it may occasionally be 11 or 13 but never 15.
Ovulation day changes all the time, and this is what changes cycle lengths :)

@ELW85 I'm so annoyed with myself because I looked at the clock when I got up exactly for that reason, but I can't 100% remember! I think it was 3 or 4 and I was up at 7. I did glug a load of water. Very strange though as normally I get 3 - 4 days of EWCM. And I never in a million years though I ovulated as early as this!!!! So glad I started temping.

I've woken up to my usual spotting and app says due tomorrow, so guess I won't be bothering to test! Rubbish.

@Purplefig - the only thing I’d say is, gather as much data as you can over a few cycles.
My first cycle tracking and temping was an odd one for me (jet lag) and then I’ve had others where it looks like I O at CD9 but it was just my body gearing up for it, and I O’d a few days later.

It’s so easy to then jump into rabbit holes and try and diagnose what may or may not be wrong with your cycle (I did!) so just try and enjoy learning about it if you can :)

@ELW85 thanks - that all makes sense. My periods vary in length quite a bit anyway, so wouldn't always o on day 12. Would be better if it is just gearing up as have barely had sex yet this cycle!!! Like you, will just keep tracking and see.
