Hi everyone! I’ve started a new thread as we are dangerously close to 1000 posts in the last one! I’ll add a link to it now :) Here’s hoping it’s a lucky one!

Patience is a virtue and af is a witch - she arrived this morning after random brown spotting yesterday afternoon and nothing between. Think my body is trying to trick me these last 2 months as well as 2 or 3 days late last month too! Emotional rollercoaster!

Cycle 7 and fertility mot tests here we come!

@LikeTheFruit it was really good, I ate far too much though 😂

@purplefig what colour does it go if you don't drink it quick enough? It was a Brazilian restaurant and they bring different meats round on skewers- soooo good!! I had some pineapple too not that its OV time but was still yummy!

Happy Friday ladies, hope the sun is shining for you all! What's everyones weekend planes? Anyone testing? @DayDreamer1707 I am looking forward to exciting news when I get up tomorrow! We are going away for the night so hoping to get a nice wee swim and jacuzzi in and maybe DTD too if the OH is lucky haha might pack the frillies just in case 😉

I might test Sunday if I can't wait for AF to come next week, but knowing my cycles I'll have the tell-tale spotting by then anyway :(

@Lozzlepop it you leave it for about 10 minutes it starts to turn a rather unappetizing shade of brown, so best to glug it when vibrant and purple looking! Glad you enjoyed dinner out and your night away this weekend sounds LOVELY! Have a fab time!

What's everyone else up to? I've got a pretty packed on including a night out, fete and DIY. Reaaaaaally hoping I ovulate before the end of next week, otherwise I'm away and will miss it. But ah, what can ya do.

@starkid sorry if I'm just repeating what you already know / have said - but is your spotting accompanied by a short LP? If so I've just been reading up on the benefits of b-complex vitamins. There is a thread on this board (title has b-complex in it) which is a really good read. Right, must crack on!

@purplefig - Hi, it's around 11 day, so fairly short yes. Pregnacare has b vitamins in it anyway doesn't it? Or is this something different?
I'm going to start taking the liquid form as of today as can't be sure how well my body is absorbing the tablet form - a shortened digestive system kind of plays havoc with this sort of thing I'll go check out the thread though, thanks :)

Also I make a smoothie most mornings to take to work with me, and mine's grey once I arrive 😂

I did buy some stronger B6 tablets to take as well, but forgot about them in the last month or so :O

@strakid I imagine its the same idea, this one is called Fazenda! Fingers crossed AF doesn't rear her ugly head.

Hoping my OPKs arrive this weekend, been reading up and a lot of people seemingly take an extra week or so to OV meaning AF would be due when we are on holiday which would be a pain 😒

@starkid oh sorry, you did tell me about your digestive system before. I find it difficult to keep up with everyone!! Thanks for mentioning pregnacare - I've just checked and you're right. Just wondering what the quantities are as I can't see on Amazon.

@purplefig I see! I’m vegetarian myself; would love to take the plunge but I love eggs, cheddar and dairy milk too much. I just try and be very conscious of the dairy I do buy, and not get it too often! I also get what you mean about smoothies being like mood rings - I can make one that comes out a lovely chocolatey brown - I leave it 5 mins and it looks like pond scum.

@granddesigns So sorry to hear about AF, are you having your MOT fertility tests privately?

@starkid sorry to tag you twice - but I've just realised pregnacare only has 10 mg of B6, whereas the B-Complex recommended in the other thread has 50mg - so quite a bit more. If I have no luck this cycle, I'm going to try the complex a go for cycle 10. Gulp.

@MrsEG Oh man, I know what you mean. Mmmm pond scum!!! Have a fab time for your dads birthday and 10/10 tactics for being designated driver .

Tbh the smoothies I always make turn out brown and look less than appetising. Always delicious though!

Thanks @MrsEG - yes we decided to go private as both have a few family factors that could be at play and want to know sooner rather than later in case we need to follow up. If it's a clean bill of health that's ok and happy to keep on the ttc journey but would rather know one way or the other than have the stress factor of not knowing and wondering adding to the ups and downs of ttc.

@LokiCat yeah I'm surprised at how OK tasting this smoothie is, considering some of the downright oddities in it. Anyone for maca root?!?! Funnily enough, I actually managed to get loads if in Aldi (macca root, wheatgrass powder, flaxseed + frozen berries). We've got just got a tonne of painting to finish off - so not too hard going but time consuming nonetheless. Enjoy your dinner, that sounds like a lovely evening. Fingers crossed the presentation goes smoothly and quickly.

@purplefig - hi yes I saw it wasn't very high either, so am going to take 50mg B6 tablets which I have as well as extra b12 and vitamin c, along with the pregnacare liquid, and see how it goes! Haha don't worry I don't expect people to remember all my issues

Sorry guys I can’t keep track of us all, but is anyone in their TWW? I’m roughly 4DPO and trying desperately not to symptom spot as it’s realistically impossible that there would be any!?

@winter138 congrats! So happy for you. In answer to your question if the people know you well they unfortunately will likely guess, especially if they have had a few drinks and aren't afraid to ask, I was at a wedding this weekend, turned down prosecco and now at 5 weeks 1 day there are people who already know. But they are also the people who if, god forbid, anything went wrong, I would want to talk to anyway.

@ELW85 - I'm 10dpo! So far nothing too out of the ordinary, sore boobs and headaches, but I was extremely tired yesterday for no reason and still tired today, and had spotting 4+5dpo... Am probably desperately symptom spotting though

Was expecting AF to have appeared by now as I got a negative test at (roughly) 14dpo on Wednesday and my cycles has only once gone over the 28 days (it was only 25 the month before) so slightly confused after I experienced some nausea and cramps this morning.

@starkid - I think it’s totally natural to symptom spot!
I’ve been exhausted this week but then I keep having to tell myself it might be because I feel a cold coming on, and nothing to do with implantation as it’s way too early!

@1990shopefulftm do you know how long your luteal phase is? I know ovulation can vary cycle to cycle, but your LP doesn’t change, so you might get a better idea of when AF is due if you know when you O’d and your LP?
It might just be that there isn’t enough HCG yet to measure though, so this post isn’t much help, haha!

@purplefig - I love painting! Did the living room a little while ago and it's completely transformed it. All the walls are white in our house and I'm slowly going round with the paint brush! Have fun!

@ELW85 - I'm currently 8dpo. AF due next Thursday! I was symptom spotting earlier in the week but have had nothing in the last two days.. or I've just been too busy to notice! Hope it continues like that otherwise I'll go crazy. I'm constantly checking when I wipe for any spotting/signs of implantation bleeding (sorry TMI) 😂
