@DayDreamer1707 welcome back. Ooh that sounds promising but 12DPO with ICS you could get a false negative. Maybe wait a couple of days.

@Emly if you are temping FF is definitely a good way to go and glow is good temping or not.

AF has gone. I had my 21 day bloods and they were normal I'm getting re- tested just incase but docs convinced there is nothing wrong with me even though I know spotting 6-7DPO u til AF some moths is not conjunctive to an egg implanting!! GP's just don't know enough about ttc. Working on DP to get sperm analysis now.

10dpo today but think af is just about to arrive. I've been going through my cycles and noticed my luteal has gone from 13days to now last few cycles around 10.. any ideas on how to lengthen it for next cycle? Do you think that it is too short at 10 days?

@orangeloo pleased your bloods came back ok, fingers crossed for the re test and the sa. Do you not think your doctor was very helpful? Or just that they aren't clued up enough?

@DayDreamer1707 welcome back! I would maybe hold off if you can? Especially with a ic? Easier said that done 😊

@Jessikka yeh I'm sure that's happened to me too, think I caught the surge on the way down and ovulated the same day. Hopefully you still dtd and caught it 😊

@Emly welcome! I'm also using natural cycles with the temping I do find it very accurate but with putting in the opk's it definitely helps pin point it a lot easier. But I would see how you get on first If you think they will maybe put a bit of pressure on you?

@purplefig good luck with the temping. I've just got used to it now, so it doesn't really bother me anymore ha!

@Lottiepink thank you. Yes she was trying to be helpful tbf but I think she's not not clued up enough as is the prob the case with most GP's I suspect. We will see what the next results bring. I would also like to lengthen my luteal phase so will do some research on this and will let you know if I find anything. I think it's shorter than ideal but I remember someone saying that the nhs don't class this as being an issue. That may be because they can't afford to treat it but I guess if you got an egg implanted early 10 days would be fine. Minefield!

Morning everyone. I took my first Pregnacare pill early this morning when I woke up to start my fast and just had my FMU and omg it's bright green-yellow hahaha you guys were right about the pee colour change.

@DayDreamer1707 Hello lovely I do remember you! So pleased to hear you’ve got a new job you love! As others have said I’d avoid an IC and maybe try a FRER?? I got a faint positive at 11DPO with one yesterday!

@Dollywilde Thank you lovely, I haven’t tested today but wore my Ava again and temp was up again this morning. Going to try a second FRER tomorrow at 13DPO 🤞🏻 That’s so funny about MIL!! My Mum would be the same, but MIL is a god-fearing Catholic I don’t think she’d know where to look...!

@orangeloo yeh I suppose, they can't be experts in everything I guess ha! I'll have a look into it too. We will have to discuss our findings ha! How many days is yours usually? I think mine seemed to shorten a little after the pregnacare tablets, but can't be sure!

@Meenabeena I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but I think they are supposed to be taken on a full stomach after your main meal? So I always take mine after my tea. But if your fasting then I'm not sure what to suggest. Sorry if I've missed it, but what are the reasons for the fasting.. I'm curious 😊

@Lottiepink this was taken on a full stomach. Oh I'm Muslim and it's the month of Ramadhan. So I'll be fasting (no food or drink) from sunrise till sunset. I was up at 2.30am today for the start of my fast. Had my food and then took the first pill. Will be breaking the fast around 9pm tonight. Gonna be a long day! And well month. TTC this month is gonna be hard but we shall try :)

@Lottiepink AF is starting, I'm gutted, three cycles of Clomid and still nothing. Going to skip a month and take next progesterone.

@Meenabeena ahhh right, sorry I'm so nosey, and obviously uneducated... I should have clicked on sorry! That is a long day! Haha I can't imagine trying to ttc with fasting. Lots of luck 😊

@KatBeCool aww sorry to hear that, I think af is on its way for me too. How long was your luteal? Does the clomid/progesterone change your cycle much?

@lottiepink - hiya - there was a post on Preggers Kitchen about lengthening luteal phase, and also Vitex is great to balance our hormones so will balance a follicular and luteal phase...BUT from everything I’ve read, your luteal phase can’t change. An odd cycle it might be one day longer or shorter but definitely not two?

@MrsEG I am so thrilled for you lovely! Huge congratulations to you! You've really made me chuckle with talk of the fertility bracelet and your DH thinking you're engaging in some sort of pagan rituals eating pineapple. 😂. I think my DH also thinks I've lost it most of the time- he definitely wants a baby but possibly not quite as obsessed as me!

Help me out of my funk ladies. I'm going away with work tomorrow night until Saturday morning and DH is away on a stag this weekend. Will be CD12-17 that I'm away which is my prime fertile week most likely and already getting pre O symptoms like changes in fertile mucus. I can't help but feel so depressed about it even though it's only one month at the end of the day. Time just keeps on ticking...

@bettythecat it totally sucks when things like that happen and you feel like you’re losing a month, but with all of the effort put into TTC just see it as a bit of down time and one of the few times left you both get to let your hair down (presuming you’ll go out with work whilst you’re away) before baby comes along!!

@MrsEG I'm good! Ava bracelet is great - temp rose 4 days in a row but didn't record last night (my fault - charging was forgotten!)

Morning ladies! Hope you all have a lovely weekend. The sun is out and I hope it stays that way! Our dinner was so terrible last night, they kept us waiting, food wasn't great and DH was so grumpy. Still ended on a high when we got home

@DayDreamer1707 welcome back! Glad you're enjoying your new role. As others have said, I think testing with a FRER would be best otherwise may have to wait a few days (which is hard I know!). Fx the twinges are positive news 🤞🏽

@Dollywilde haha that's hilarious! My SIL told me that when they were TTC my MIL would constantly ask them if they'd DTD otherwise send them up - I'd be mortified!!
I've noticed a few times that the OPs have been getting bfp!

@orangeloo glad your blood tests and back okay and good luck for the speed analysis and re-testing. It's annoying when you sometimes have to push drs for tests. At least they are retesting you. It took a while before my GP finally referred me to get a PCO ultrasound as she wasn't convinced but the ultrasound showed I do have it as I thought it would! We obviously know our bodies a lot better!

@Bettythecat ah I know it can be frustrating when you've put in all the effort leading up but then the month gets missed! It'll be a good chance for you to relax and recuperate whilst away. DTD as soon as you're back just incase and maybe there's an off chance you can still catch it?

@bettythecat, agree with the other wise ladies! It's so annoying when you know you're missing a window, but at least it's for fun things, a chance to let your hair down and have a bit of 'time off' from it. I hope you both have a fab time! Xx

Had a weird day yesterday, my manager has somehow twigged that I'm pregnant! No idea how, I'm convinced some people just Know?! Obviously it's nothing to do with my non stop eating or anything 😂 She won't say anything to anyone else and she's very supportive, especially after last time, so not a bad thing, just weirded me out a little! I've made a white chocolate cheesecake for a little get together tonight. Need a good cover, my best friend smokes and I usually go out in the garden with her to chat, but will probably have to say I've got a cold or something. Xx

@Bettythecat Thank you! Ha yep - if only they knew how easy things are on their side of the fence! A few rolls in the sack and they’re done!! I’ve been in the same boat at the end of last summer and missed a month as I was away with work; I was so annoyed at first but in the end actually enjoyed the month off all the TTC stress.

@ValidUser Sounds lovely! Glad you’re getting on with the Ava, the charging thing is the only annoying thing I find!! I do find it only needs about an hour to charge though so on nights I realise I’ve forgotten to plug it in I’ve just quickly charged it and done a bit of cleaning or something willing it to hurry up haha! I also missed a night this month though, don’t think it’s made a difference to my overall stats at all :)

@Fivebyfive2 Haha! Fingers crossed!! No way - I wonder if the knowledge of that’s happened before just has your boss vigilant to it? I have issues with low blood pressure (ongoing thing for years) and every now and then it really drops and I get a bit dizzy/faint - happened a few weeks ago and I could tell my boss was like ‘Hmmmmm!’ and was overly concerned about it! Whereas normally it’s just a case of ‘Go and scoff something from the vending machine, take 5 and back to work’ ha! I think they must know we’re obviously trying so are on the look out for signs!
