Conceiving after abortion

How soon did you conceive after an abortion ??
I had a surgical abortion 5 weeks ago at 11 wks preg for medical reasons. Had my period a week ago...it lasted 3 days. I want to TTC again now...not sure if its wise. Diff drs have diff opinions.

I know this was a while back, what I'm currently in the same boat, how long did it take TTC ? Looking for some positive stories xx

Hi @Lozzi90 - I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s really hard. I had a TFMR two years ago at 14 weeks. I then conceived my daughter 2 months later (with a chemical in between). I hope that helps!

@Tryingforanotherbaby did you ovulate straight away ? I'm been tracking my ovulation and all OPK are negative, your comment gave me hope though so thank you xxx

I ovulated about 4 weeks after the TFMR, so it pushed my ovulation back a couple of weeks. You should definitely have hope, I hope you are doing okay :) keep testing and hopefully the OPK will be positive soon! x
