Morning all!

I feel like I’ve been ‘good’ until now but am ready to do some serious symptom spotting. Would anyone like to join me?

Cycle: 2
DPO: 7
Symptoms: just a few occasional crampy pangs and (sorry if TMI!) a little bit of diarrhoea yesterday (is this even a symptom?!)

@starfish83 I tested this morning at 10dpo just because my blood sugar is being such a dick I had to rule it out. BFN (unless being able to see the indent where a line would be counts 😂) so it’s probably all related to some kind of bug but it means I can sort with the nurse team today.

It’s my birthday and DH booked a trip to Ibiza for the end of the month which is officially my happy place. As a bonus we are there during predicted fertile week so that will help take the sodding pressure off a bit.

Have you wrapped your head around yours yet?

Ah, limesoda, really sorry about your BFN, but onwards and upwards - fab to hear about your Ibiza trip, sounds like a great opportunity for some couple fun and baby-making time! 😊

I still can’t quite believe my BFP! It’s still early days so am really hoping that all goes smoothly over the next few weeks.

Do people mind if I stay around for a bit? It seems weird to set up a thread and then just bugger off! 😂

I'm 11dpo on cycle #1 after coming off the mini pill.

For the past 2/3 days I've had a number of new 'symptoms'.

Main one is a seriously dry mouth and being constantly thirsty. It hasn't gone away in 3 days! Tender boobs, random twinges and cramps, exhausted and I keep burping which is making me feel ill 🤢

Af isn't due for another 5 days for me. I took a cheap test yesterday and could see a hint of a line. Took a frer this morning at 5am (couldn't sleep) and I can see the faintest or faint lines (I hope!) It won't let me upload the pic for a few hours though 🙄 I hate that MN rule!

Got backache still, so think AF on her way. Due Monday and this will be our 6th month of trying so feeling a bit disheartened. What I thought was a cold sore is actually a mouth ulcer on my lip which can be caused by hormone changes so I got hopeful...then today i feel much less hopeful and just scared it won't ever happen.

7 days before period or BFP...

Sore boobs
Very hungry in the morning
No cervical mucus

Will torture myself all week.

@Babytrain89 it is so damn hard. Things that have made me emotional about kids today: a mother and son in my gym class this morning, a small child falling off a scooter, twins being really cute and holding hands all the way around m&s 😳 it’s tough.

@ttcbabanumber3 good luck for the torture! I’m no better TBH, but testing early Has only ever added to the torture for me.

AF due on Wednesday, so nothing certain until then even if I’m not v hopeful. I’m not testing again unless she is late. It’s just not worth it and as I stare down the barrel of cycle number four at 35 I think if I ever see a line I want it to be definite. That will probs change by this time next month!

ALSO it is an excuse for one last holiday with wine and walks and scooting round a beaut island so I am 100% (maybe 90%) ok with that 😂

@limesoda It really is hard! We're taking the 'if it happens it happens' approach supposedly....but without the guarantee of it'll happen someday...Im struggling.
Im like you....i can't face a negative test! So only test if AF is late....the last time that happened i POAS and when I wiped....there she was....and i still looked hopefully at the test! Doh!
It often feels like everyone can just get pregnant really easily 😤! Which is lovely for them but Im over here all green with envy!

@Babytrain89 it is just so frustrating and annoying. Two weeks doesn’t sound that long in theory, but practice is tough.

Hurry up Wednesday, hurry up AF, lets go round again for me I’m sure. I have one FRER left that I’m not using unless AF isn’t here on Wednesday.

Period due Friday but cramps and pink spotting 🥴

Hey! Me and my partner decided to start trying last month so very early days. He was using condoms before so I went off the implant a while ago so regular periods although not 100% sure of my cycle length but between 28-30 days. I had my period on the 19th April so due next week at some point. I am not sure when I ovulated but looking online between the 29th April-4th May. Is there any point me doing a pregnancy test? First time trying makes me keen to know!! Advice welcome :)

I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I am not due for another 2 days.
I had a tinge of pink on the tissue which lasted 3 days. Which I hoped to be implantation bleeding.
If I was pregnant, shouldn't I be getting a positive test by now?
I am trying not to drive myself crazy.

@limesoda Ah, I know what you mean so much. Just about to start cycle four as well, and prefer not to test until period is here, although I can feel that it is on it's way. Getting it will still be like getting a rejection for a job interview when you know you've not got the job but hope anyway. Expecting her tomorrow, but on holiday so trying to not focus on it.

We should be around the same I think, for cycles? If AF comes tomorrow then next is due June 10th or thereabouts. Maybe next month we can stick together? I'm a bit down as month three of trying seems to be the lucky month for so many.

Also happy for those who have BFPs though, as it does give me hope. Someone apologised for having one on another thread and I felt bad because it is nice to see them.

Of course @Sleepyhead11 I should be due around the 12th June I think.

I was down a bit before, but kind of OK now. I'm trying to see the benefit of a pregnant-free holiday (I'm not a huge drinker but a glass of something lovely on a sunny terrace is quite the treat) and we should be away over ovulation which will hopefully make it all a bit less scheduled.

I'm genuinely delighted for BFPs, love to see it on here.

@limesoda ah where are you going? I agree that going away over OV will def make it more relaxed. We're in Russia, which is a bit wired (were in Moscow which never sleeps) but heading to Petersburg tomorrow which might be calmer. Not OV til like May 27 though.

Think period is coming early, blob of red and pink spotting on tissue. Period due on Friday but looks like it’s early which prob means I got ovulation day wrong so dtd in wrong days! 😭

Hope you don't mind a newbie crashing proceedings 😂

I've just come off the pill a few weeks ago, my last withdrawal bleed was 21st to 25th April but no definitive actual cycle to go off yet! Had a few fun times with my OH, a few when Ovia thought was the fertile window but we don't know yet 🙈

According to Ovia, it thinks my actual first AF will come this next Sunday and for a little while now I've been having really sore nipples (never usually happens), cramps and pain that feels on the inside of my stomach, being really tired and having that sicky feeling of being hungry when I've just eaten as well as random dizziness and feeling SO bloated. I'm trying to think that it's just my body coming off the pill but why not symptom spot 😂

@Sleepyhead11 Moscow is nuts! I’ve only been there for a few nights as per of a bigger trans Siberia adventure, but loved that city. Plz report back on St P because I loved everywhere we stopped in Russia and want to go back, big time. We are off to Ibiza just for a few days and I know it has a reputation but I properly love it there. Our last holiday was in a Muslim country, so looking forward to some wine in the sun (the ONLY benefit of not being pregnant).

Temp dropping, period due tomorrow, all the symptoms there. When it happens I guess I’ll allow myself a day of moping and then get back to it. At least I’m insanely busy with work this week, 14 hour days don’t really lend themselves to thinking about anything else.

And @sparkleuk I have no idea what to make of symptom spotting any more 😂 It’s so nuts, I have had them all.

Hope your cycles settle quickly and you catch soon! I am writing all the symptoms down, just so when it all happens again next month I know where I’m at.

I had a really bad night with cramps so for a bit of silliness, I decided to test with first wee of the day this morning. It came up with two lines, one in the test and one in the control but then I read loads of reviews that said that test gave people lots of false positives so I'm going to have to get some more brands, aaah 🙈

14dpo and I'm sure I can see a line! Don't want to get my hopes up though.
