False positive

Basically yesterday I took a cheap pregnancy test and almost straight away it was faint positive and then got clearer. I took another one almost straight after and it was negative. Ive done taken a first response rapid results this morning and that one is also negative. Any chance the first one was correct or just a false positive please? Ive been trying to conceive since October 2018.

The freedom tests are terrible for giving out lines. This is the third post I've seen this week! When's af due? I think the first response rapid results tests are better from the day of missed period but the early response are the more sensitive. Finger crossed 🤞

@Ttc1995 I had that this week! I did a cheap strip test and was positive (very faint though) did 2 FRER's both negative.
I now feel like I'm in this strange no man's land of not knowing!

So since this post I’ve had 2 more false positives. I had one on the 4th(this post) one on the 16th and now one today(29th). I’ve done tests in between and have been negative. It’s so draining😞
