Implantation bleeding or early AF?

Has anyone had implantation bleeding that was more than just spotting and gone on to have a BFP?
There was blood when I wiped yesterday morning - 9DPO. Got really excited that it might be implantation bleeding then it got a little heavier and has continued through to today. Still not like my usual day 2 of period and mostly brown-ish (which is what I’m pinning my hopes on) but just looking for some hope maybe that it might not be full-blown AF and another unsuccessful month.
Any positive stories out there?!

When is your period due? Implantation shouldn't generally have any red blood in it. But there are some women who have implantation bleeding for 4 days! I suppose it depends on the length of your cycle. i had implantation bleeding 7 days before my due period.

It was supposed to be due this Wednesday coming which is why the spotting has taken me by surprise. If this is AF it would make it a 23 day cycle which is shorter than I’ve ever had before. I’m guessing it’s just my body messing me around and making me feel rubbish once more.

I’ve had similar this month. Usually a 31 day cycle but at day 27 i had cramping followed by 4 days of very light watery brown spotting instead of usual AF. Very strange??

I did with my last pregnancy. Took a clear blue digital, wiped and there was bright red blood. Couldn't beleive I'd wasted a test. Bleeding continued all day. Morning after it had stopped and the next day decided to take the other cbd and it was positive

Thanks @Passmeagin. That’s what I’m hoping will be the case for me! Day three of brown spotting but mainly when I wipe definitely isn’t normal for me. If this isn’t implantation bleeding my body is doing very weird things!

@20TinkerBell20 it’s weird isn’t it?! Have you done a test or is too early? I did a cheapie this morning as that’s all I have in the house but negative as I pretty much expected it to be!

I don’t really know as AF was due to start Saturday but Thursday the spotting started which I have assumed is a very light AF. But today I have had random stabbing pains and lower back ache but spotting has almost stop. Very confusing

@20TinkerBell20 Very similar here too - feels like very light AF but so different to normal. Also got weird stomach twinges and back ache. Really trying hard not to get my hopes up that this might be something other than AF but my brain keeps thinking about!

I'm on day 24 of my (usually 29 day) cycle, first cycle of TTC. I'm using Clearblue opks and I'm on day 13 of getting a flashing smiley, which is annoying. Today after using the test I noticed a small amount of blood, possibly too much for it to be implantation-related. But AF is never early for me, and I don't have any cramps or hot spells which I always get just before it arrives, so I have no idea. The only other 'symptom' is a stabby pain low by my hip for the past few days, which has gone now.

Only a few weeks into this TTC business and it's driving me bananas already!

@MindyStClair the bananas thing doesn’t really get any better I’m afraid! I’m on cycle 11 and still spend the last few weeks of my cycle trying not to google various symptoms I’m having! Fingers crossed you get good news quicker than I have ❤️

Thanks for the help ladies - unfortunately I’m out again this month - AF arrived with a vengeance during the night so it was obviously just my body messing with me. Good luck to anyone waiting for their BFP ❤️
