Hi Guys
Has anyone been actively charting their BBT.
Mine went up after ovulation and today @ 8dpo it has dropped drastically. Does that mean my period is about to come?
So desperate to get pregnant

It can do. Mine usually went down the day before AF came, but that would leave you with a short luteal phase so hopefully not the case here :) it could be an anomaly in temp, or perhaps even an implantation dip?? Fingers crossed the latter!

Thanks NannyPear. I will see how it goes in the next couple of days Smile

8dpo is quite early for it to drop. It could just be that you temped at a different time, you're getting I'll, didn't sleep well etc. I get anomalies every now and then, it might not mean anything.

Also, 8dpo would be the right time for an implantation dip so it could be a good thing! Smile

Thanks MrsRLM. Will see how it goes tomorrow 😁

Are you using a 2 decimal place thermometer or a 1 decimal place thermometer to track your temperatures?

physicskate · 04/05/2019 23:08

It's not at all unusual to get a temp dip to cover line around then. Some people call it an implantation dip, but really it's just a (normal) spike in oestrogen that doesn't mean anything. Your bbt is likely to rise again tomorrow if this is the case.

How was your temp this morning OP?
