June Bus

All aboard...kickstarting the June bus as trying to remain positive now AF has just arrived.

TTC: 3
Age: 39
Cycle: 2
CD: 1
AF/BFP due: 1st June

Going for number 3, but first with DP. Bit worried about my age and just coming off the pill but cycles seem pretty normal. Doing OPKs and night start temping.

Would this be your first? I held of doing things like opks until we were a few cycles in as I didn’t want to add to any stress!

Congratulations! I don’t think it matters how faint it is, positive is positive!!

I have no idea what's going on. Currently in CD 34. 6 days late according to Flo. Started spotting 2 days ago but it's stayed like that, my AF whilst on the pill came with full force in less than 12 hours! Haven't tested since last Thursday as was getting down by all the BPN!

@fancyfuchsia all my first positives have been faint. They've always darkened after a few days as HCG rises :)

@mumofbun this is my first cycle. I know it's was always going to be a bit hit and miss but this spotting for days is annoying! Haha

Oh my goodness @fancyfuchsia that certainly looks like a BFP to me, congrats! I have another 9 days of waiting before AF is due myself so I'm going to wait to test. You should get a digital to back it up x

Yeah this is the first cycle. I've already said to DH i'm not going to to the OPKs for a while as i don't know if my cycle is back to normal anyway and i'll just stress myself out!

It took me 6 months off the pill for everything to go back to normal! I thought it had as I was getting spotting and then a bleed at the right sort of time each month but then I had one weirdly short cycle and then I realised that things hadn’t been right before that. Started noticing ewcm even though I hadn’t really been looking and cramps got much worse including around ovulation - I don’t think I’d been ovulating before that!

That’s what I was going to suggest as it sounded like it was your first cycle. Stress is a massive factor so I would just relax for a cycle or two - actually a lot of people I know have just managed to conceive in the first month or two of not not trying!! I’m only doing opks as I’m now nearly a year off the pill and on cycle 6 of properly trying so want to check everything is ok!

@mumofbun It's as if she knew we were talking about her. She's arrived 6 days late. At least I know I can complete cycle. Onto the next one!

I’m having a very down day. Dh is struggling with stress at the mo, we didn’t dtd last night and my opks are still confusing me. No ewcm today so far as I thought there would be...pretty sure I’ve missed it and the surge on opks. Considering just giving the ttc a complete break :(

Also sorry to hear you're having a rough day @mumofbun maybe a break would be good for your mental health but either way you have a month to decide before your next fertile window so don't pile too much pressure on yourself!

Cd11 here and driving myself nuts wondering if I've ovulated or when I might and if we will be lucky enough for it to happen this month.

I only ever used clear blue opks because they're easy 😂 I'd drive myself mad otherwise.
I'm driving myself mad using nothing though so that's just me :p

So I definitely think I ovulated Saturday night/early Sunday morning! I had twinges and increased cm around that time, and cm a couple of days before. Since Tuesday I've been completely dry. I was meant to ovulate yesterday but no cm at all and no symptoms. I haven't taken an opk because I know it will be negative. I dtd on Thursday and Sunday so hopefully it's enough. Also dtd on Tuesday, just in case I did ovulate yesterday, but I don't think it would have had any impact if I did actually ovulate at the weekend 😕 this is my 3rd cycle after coming off the pill, so who knows 🤷‍♀️ I ovulated exactly as predicted for my first two cycles so I wonder why it's different this time? 😭

So I just read on one of the healthcare sites that an egg after ovulation CAN survive for up to 48 hours, so maybe I've just caught it by dtd on Tuesday too 🤷‍♀️

Just checked my app notes and I did have some ewcm on Tuesday too. There was much but I definitely had a bit.

@mrssunshinexxx when did you ovulate?

@Tamalama one of my apps said yesterday one says sat and one says next Thursday so i honestly don't have much faith in what's going on or what to trust! It such a long window to cover when they all say different and hubby works away
