Is this an evaporation line

Hello, this line came up about 10-15 mins after I took the test but I'm still hesitant to call it a positive

It doesn't look like an evap line but if it didn't come up within the time limit then I wouldn't trust it. Wait a day and test again.

What do the instructions say? normally it has to come up in 5 minutes. Wait 48 hours and test tomorrow morning. How many dpo are you?

Hi guys I’m new here but looking for some advice. I’ve been feeling off it tired and nauseous for a couple of weeks. My period is due on Saturday but I took a Clearblue test yesterday morning and saw a faint blue line. Repeated on a digital test that read pregnant, amazing news! This morning I did a second digital test that said not pregnant and being me I’ve just repeated a line test and got another really faint blue line (I don’t know how to upload a photo) Am I pregnant or not? I’m so confused!

This is what I’m thinking my other half says I’ll just have to wait till after the weekend to be sure. But I’m dying to know now 😂. Why do you think the digital one said not pregnant this morning? Could that just be a red herring?

Amazing! Congratulations. I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and wait till Monday. Would you phone the docotors Monday if Mother Nature hasn’t visited or repeat the test again first? Sorry for all the questions 🙈

@MrsJ1906 digital tests can be less sensitive than other ones. Try again in a few days, hormone levels should double every 48-72 hours.

Looks much too pink to be an evap line OP - congratulations!

MrsJ1906 hcg levels can fluctuate or maybe your pee with the second digital was more dilute which would explain the result. Why wait till after the weekend though? A test tomorrow should confirm it (especially if you can get a FRER - more reliable than the blue dye ones)

@kinsters are the first response ones not the same as the clear blue 6 day early detection none digital? That’s the line one I’ve been using.

Maybe they're supposed to be but the blue dye ones are always harder to read as they get worse evaps (imo). FRERs can get indents/evaps but not like the blue dye ones do.

If I could post the photo (which I can’t) I can’t see any evap lines only a really faint vertical line

I've just taken another test and it is negative, any ideas?

When I've looked closely I can actually see a line so my mind is at ease abit more now xx you can't really see it on here but I'm confident it's there

Yeah, HCG levels can fluctuate as they rise. Maybe your pee was more dilute? I'd do another FRER in the morning if I were you.

I did another test this morning a FRER one and could 100% see a second pink line that takes me to 4 positives and 1 negative with my period due tomorrow. I’m beginning to think I really am pregnant! 😁 thanks for all your help guys! Xx

Hi, taken one today and looks like just an indent 😢 due period tomorrow but I'm guessing it's a chemical pregnancy

So sorry Izzie. I've been to docs this morning as also looks like I'm having a CP. She told me that she went to a fertility conference and the consultant speaking at it wanted them to ban early detection tests like frer as they cause so much unneccesary trauma by letting people know they've miscarried -when it could just have been the disappointment of a period instead. I hope your line comes back and period stays away. You're not out til the red lady sings and all that x

Yes, I certainly won't be doing a test before I'm due my period again. When I was pregnant with my daughter I done a frer the day after my period was due and that was also faint so I think my body takes a while to build hcg anyway
