Waitrose Pregnancy Tests

Hi everyone,

Has anyone on here used a Waitrose own brand pregnancy test and had problems with it?
AF is 10 days late, I'm suddenly experiencing a NEED for orange juice when I never normally touch the stuff, I've had a real loss of appetite, really tired all the time and having a lot of headaches and feeling nauseous, almost like I have a really nervous feeling in my stomach that's putting me off food, etc.
I took a Waitrose own brand test yesterday and I thought it hadn't worked, as the control line didn't come up. Then, when OVER 5 minutes had passed the control line did appear, along with a very, very faint line in the test window. The problem is, it tells you not to read results after 5 minutes, so does this mean that the test failed because the control line took so long to appear?
I did another one this morning and had the same thing again :-(
Has anyone else had any problems/success with these tests? I'm thinking of getting a first response when I go on my lunch break today... or would you recommend any others?

@cookielove thank you for your response - I'll def pick one up at lunch time if they have any in Boots.
Just very confused by even the control line taking so long to form - usually they pop up straight away, so I feel I got a rubbish test!

Did a first response this morning and I'm 80% sure it was negative ... there may have been the faintest of lines but I wasn't sure if my eyes were playing tricks.
The nausea continues though and today I was actually sick in the middle of the day ... hadn't eaten anything, BUT instead of the smooth orange juice I've been desperate to drink over the last week, I had to pick up a little bottle of OJ with "bits" in it, which isn't what I wanted at all. 5 minutes after finishing it, puke town lol.
Maybe I just have a bug but something just feels different. Might give it a couple of days and if there is still no AF, I'll test again.
