Best thermometer for tracking BBT?

Hi lovely ladies! I'm thinking about starting to track my BBT; I've done a bit of reading but am still a novice so any general advice and tips would be gratefully received! I'd also like to specifically ask what the best type of thermometer is to use for this? I'm thinking probably an oral digital one. Where did you buy yours from?

I've just ordered one from amazon which arrives today. I read it has to be a specific BBT one not just a normal thermometer from Boots for example. This one I've ordered reads temps to two decimal places (was £12.99 on amazon, typed in BBT thermometer).

@lewk Thank you! I was looking again today and did nearly purchase one which doesn't have the decimal points so I would have been annoyed with myself if I was silly enough to order it 🤣 Managed to find one which I think comes with a graph as well which may be useful but I'm going to see if the Flo app let's me graph that!

Yeah I think the temperature changes can be small so you need the two decimal places! I'm going to use Fertility Friend app to chart which comes recommended by others on here :)

@lewk thanks I'll have a look at that app 😊

Hi, any thermometer that measures to two decimal places. Mine was only a cheap one from Ebay and it does the trick for me.

I think fertility friend is the best app to use although it can look confusing at first!
