CD1... a new cycle. Who's TTC?

Hi!
Here we go again, a new cycle, a new chance to get that BFP!! After a weird cycle with loads of new PMS symptoms, I'm ready to give it my all this time 🤞🏼 planning to DTD every other day from CD6, as I'm ovulating early and I think we're missing it. Fertile window for me is 2nd - 4th May.
Anyone else starting a new cycle now?

I'm due AF any day now - can't wait for it to make an appearance as this will be our first month TTC! My last cycle was 40 days (usually 30) so I'm really hoping it comes on time. Your plan sounds good, I think we'll do the same and aim to DTD every other day as I'm really not sure when my fertile week is. Hopefully you catch yours this month if it's been coming earlier than you thought!

Hi @lewk !!
Thanks for joining in. Hope your cycles get on track soon. Have you just stopped birth control?

lewk · 24/04/2019 23:27

I stopped the pill in October to try and regulate - had to delay TTC due to maternity pay at work. Are you going to temp/OPK?

Squiff70 · 24/04/2019 23:29

I'm on CD1 too as AF just started. I'm due to ovulate 7th-8th May. Best of luck this cycle!

lewk · 24/04/2019 23:37

Good luck Squiff! What cycle is this for you?

Ladybug84 · 24/04/2019 23:47

@lewk I'll start with the OPK from CD6, no temp. Will you try both temp & OPK?

@Squiff70 welcome! Have you been trying for long?

This is TTC #3. Good luck to all of us 🍀

This is TTC #3 for me

Thank you. Second cycle for us.

Hi @lewk @Squiff70
How's the cycle going?
Have you been able to track your ovulation day?

I've been doing Opks from CD10 and i got the peak on CD13 (Monday). So this cycle is back to "normal" after last cycle early O day on CD9. I didn't feel the intense pain either, just felt bloated. I haven't noticed any significant changes with CM so a bit confused 🤷🏻‍♀️ we DTD on CD8, 11, and 13 am and pm so we stand a better chance this month 🍀

I was reading yesterday about statistics and it surprised me that even DTD on the more fertile days (the 3 days before ovulation) we only have a 25% of falling pregnant. Not that easy after all 😕

Hope it's going well for you two. I'm now 1 or 2 DPO. The TWW starts now 😅

OP posts:
Squiff70 · 08/05/2019 19:44

Hi @Ladybug84. I'm 1 DPO (strong positive OPKs yesterday on CD14) so the TWW has begun. It's such a slow two months isn't it? I think we've done everything we can this month too, and yet chances of conceiving are still relatively low. Still, you never know! It's just a question of keeping busy now...

Ladybug84 · 09/05/2019 09:39

@Squiff70 ah at least it's positive that you got your peak and did all the dancing 💃🏽 😂 . Now it's down to nature...
How long are your cycles? AF is due on 21st May for me, it's going to be a long wait! We just need to find something to keep us busy over the next 2 weeks. Hopefully this will be our month! 🍀 x

lewk · 09/05/2019 13:57

Sounds like you guys are doing well and on the right track! Fingers crossed! I've still not had AF, now CD46 with negative pregnancy tests Sad Really hoping it comes soon so I can start next cycle.

LFH1990 · 09/05/2019 14:05

Hi, hope you don’t mind if I join? We are TTC, been trying since Dec 18 but had a polyp last year so have long and irregular cycles. It’s nice having other people to talk to who are TTC, makes me feel less like I’m cracking up...!

lewk · 09/05/2019 14:36

Welcome LFH! Sorry to hear you have tricky cycles, do you know when you ovulate? X

LFH1990 · 09/05/2019 14:57

Thanks Lewk. I bought the OvuSense sensor about 6 weeks ago so that tells me with certainty when I’m ovulating, we were constantly missing the date because my cycles were so up and down. So that’s helping I think....although I think I’ve got another polyp now so that will probably cost us a few months whilst I get that sorted x

Squiff70 · 09/05/2019 16:35

@Ladybug84 28 day cycles, AF due 22nd May.

Bodyshop12 · 09/05/2019 16:36

Ever seen a dye run like this?

CD1... a new cycle. Who's TTC?
Ladybug84 · 09/05/2019 17:08

@LFH1990 welcome! I feel your pain and know how frustrating it is to have those bumps on the road. It took my period 6months to return after a miscarriage in August last year. I really hope you get some positive news soon! Regarding the Ovusense, I had a quick search online, today's technology doesn't fail to amaze me every day 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

@Squiff70 our cycles are well synchronised then ☺️

@lewk Im sorry you're struggling this month. Where your cycles regular before BC? It can take a few months for some people to regulate itself, but since you stopped in October... have you checked with your GP? They might be able to help 💐

Ladybug84 · 09/05/2019 17:09

@Bodyshop12 I can see a faint line in the bottom one

OP posts:
Bodyshop12 · 09/05/2019 17:16

@ladybug it’s really dark but I’m guessing it’s just a dye run x

LFH1990 · 09/05/2019 17:45

Thanks Ladybug, sorry to hear about your miscarriage. It’s so difficult because I’m so impatient and a total control freak but there’s nothing I can do to control this! My OvuSense is the closest I can get, if I can’t control it at least I can measure it 😂 at least I feel as though this polyp has taken the pressure off, I feel like while I have it there’s no chance of getting pregnant, but then I feel like maybe if I’m not stressing about it it might just happen 🤷🏻‍♀️ Probably not, but it is better than driving myself crazy symptom spotting...AF due 14th I think...

LFH1990 · 09/05/2019 17:46

@Bodyshop I think there is a faint line on both of those....see if you can leave it a couple of days and test again? Fingers crossed!

Bodyshop12 · 09/05/2019 18:02

@LFH1990 thanks for the reply! I had a faint line on first response on Monday but a whole lot of negatives in between lol... considering I’m two weeks late, I’m guessing just dodgy tests xx

Ladybug84 · 10/05/2019 09:43

@LFH1990 that's totally me! A really frustrated control freak that has no saying on what her body is doing, and 0 patience 😂 also a bit negative tbh, which I don't think it helps much in this case. Not stressing about it seems the best approach, who knows it might just happen 🍀
(ps: worried I might buy an ovusense now I know it exists 😆)

OP posts:
Ladybug84 · 10/05/2019 09:46

@Bodyshop12 I read some people struggle to get strong lines even with AF well overdue, it might be your case? Maybe give it a couple of days and try again with a first response. And keep us posted! Best of luck 🍀
