Opk’s always negative??

TTC (trying to conceive) with our third child and I’ve never had any luck with the opk’s in previous pregnancy’s. Can anyone give me some advice that has worked for them regarding using them and when to get a positive? I’m currently on day 13 and had all negatives so far. How many days into a cycle can you get a positive as all ovulation calculators sag I’m supposed to be ovulating now.

This was me. What time of day are you doing them? Mid day is best. Maybe even doing 2 a day. 12ish and 4ish or something similar.

I’m doing them around midday then again early evening. I’m using the cheap ones from amazon but the reviews are good so not sure if it’s them
