I think I can see a cross on the first window. I can't get a good photo, annoyingly. Please tell me I'm going mad!

I do see a line. It's off centre but so is the control line.

frogfacemcgee · 24/04/2019 14:34

Yes, I thought that. Might it mean it hasn't worked properly, or something?

My positive looked like that, I'm now 37+3 but these tests are known for evap lines so could be one of those, get a different brand and retest x

LordoftheRinse · 24/04/2019 14:37

I see a line, try a pink dye test because you’re less likely to get an evap on them

December2018 · 24/04/2019 14:49

I'd say thats a positive... looks like the strip inside the test has moved over a bit but a line is a line 😊

FaithEloise · 24/04/2019 14:49

Thats what my positive clear blue looks like now its dryed up. Do another one a pink dye one if you can x

frogfacemcgee · 24/04/2019 15:10

Thank you all. I'll go and get a First Response - that's pink, isn't it? I don't know if I'll be relieved or sad if I'm not!

OP posts:
frogfacemcgee · 24/04/2019 15:31

Now it's dried more, it doesn't seem so off centre because the other 'edge' of the line is visible, if that makes sense. Anyway, time to stop analysing for now. Thank you all!

I would say positive. I’ll attach mine... took a few days to convince me but they were all positive. I’ve always used Sainsbury’s and find them reliable but there’s a lot of people disagree on here

They also didn’t come up within the 2-3 mins - 3 days later and I got a positive on clearblue

Wishtobeamamma · 30/04/2019 13:27

Hello I had the exact same line on that test and did a FRER and others weeks after and I wasn't pregnant. Be careful with those tests they really can give false hope. Hopefully you are pregnant fingers crossed for you x

Vagchange · 30/04/2019 13:30

Blue dyes are a bit rubbish but I have to say that’s not a bad line.

December2018 · 30/04/2019 20:26

Any updates OP?

frogfacemcgee · 01/05/2019 07:24

Yes, am definitely not pregnant. Did more tests, all negative, and then got my period so officially not.

I admit, I’ve always been quite sceptical about evaporation lines, as I’ve never seen one appear before and thought they must be quite rare and perhaps quite obviously different. But this must have been one, so I’ve learnt something! We aren’t TTC and have agreed that we probably won’t have anymore, but I think this has unsettled me a bit and keep wondering, what if? Anyway, thank you for all your replies.

Is it Sainsburys?

If yes they are total shite and often come up with that thin line.

Sorry

nespressowoo · 01/05/2019 11:35

These blue ones are a fucking nightmare. I had one that looked like that and it was a bloody evaporation line. Pain in the arse. Thanks
