Hello ladies!
This is a test I did today, it is 2 days since my period is due and it is a Waitrose pregnancy test- bit of a cheap one!
It says on the instructions that any shading in the test box should be considered a positive.
What is your opinion ladies, I’m a bit scared so if anyone can help me you’d be really helping me out.

How long do I hold it in the urine for?

It's usually about 20 seconds... ish you will see the control panel start to fill I think that's when you take it out

AlwaysAlice94 · 24/04/2019 15:06

I just did a clear blue digital and it said no pregnant.
Bit gutted but I’m still late?

They are not as sensitive as most tests. I'd try a first response or wait a few days.

AlwaysAlice94 · 24/04/2019 17:07

Am I just barking up the wrong tree? I’m on the copper coil anyway!

@AlwaysAlice94 I'd just give it a few days hun if your still worried and still getting negatives then book yourself in to see your gp

Samind · 24/04/2019 17:19

Yeah agree with posters. Small throwaway container and pee into it then dip the tip of the test into it. How would you feel if you were? Also the clear blue digital do take a while to pick up HCG levels.

AlwaysAlice94 · 24/04/2019 18:52

Which is the most sensitive test to try?
I am another day late at the end of today so surely it would show up on a test no matter how sensitive it is?

A FRER.

FATEdestiny · 25/04/2019 10:22

Did you try one this morning?

AlwaysAlice94 · 25/04/2019 10:33

Yeah I did a clear blue digital and it was BFN.
Still late though so what’s going on!

You might just be having a change in your hormones. Leave it a few more days then do another.. I have the coil and although obviously we are not trying for a baby when I have done test I am always a little disappointed in a negative result

AlwaysAlice94 · 25/04/2019 10:57

It’s good to know that you have the coil. I have always been like clockwork, which has led me to question everything now!

so an update, I am still late!

I tested negative again yesterday but I just don't feel right.
I currently have a pain in my right hand side of my body around my hips and I've got nausea- just feeling generally rough.
I do have the coil in so is it even possible for me to be pregnant, or even ectopic?
This is hugely stressful as nothing like this has ever happened to me before, any advise would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks x

@AlwaysAlice94
I’d visit your GP and get a blood test and coil checked. It may be nothing pregnancy related but still warrants some checking I’d say.

December2018 · 26/04/2019 14:15

@Megan2018 yeah I agree go and get yourself checked out babe

AlwaysAlice94 · 27/04/2019 11:02

Hello ladies!
I am still late and I went for a doctors appointment yesterday- I had stage fright so couldn’t do a test and it’s been 2 days since I last did one. So my period is now a total of 5 days late.
I have a stabbing pain in my side and abdomen and PMS symptoms!
My AF still hasn’t come and I do have a bit of discharge- any other of you lovely ladies that could help with any advise?

@AlwaysAlice94
What did the GP say? There’s nothing anyone on here can say-you might be pregnant, you might not. Did they not check your coil? Take bloods to check for infection etc?
