After two months, we got my husband’s analysis back. No one at the clinic or GP has bothered with getting us a follow up to go over results so I just asked for a print out today.

Who is an expert here who can help me?

Concentration: 16 mill/ml
Progressive motility: 56%
Total sperm number: 112 million
Total motile sperm: 63 million
Morphology: 1% normal (abnormal head shape present)
Viscosity: Abnormal
Round cells: 1 mill/ml

Hi Kristie!

Pretty good count!! It makes up slightly for the less than good morphology (4% or more is what we're looking for). Not sure about the abnormal viscosity??

Might be worth looking at the supplements coq10 or proxeed? There's a few others too that I'm not terribly au fait with (sperm was not an issue I've personally dealt with, just seen lots on these boards).

Thank you @physicskate! I’m adding him some coq10 for sure. I’ve also read selenium, zinc and l-carnitine can help. Not sure if they’ll help or not but worth a shot, right?

The viscosity doesn’t say hyper or hypo, just abnormal so I have no clue until we get another appointment. That’ll be another long wait.

Totally worth a shot. I think it's worth throwing everything at it!!

My husband had 1% morphology and we got pregnant in 2 months of trying. I really don't think morphology is very important! xxx
