Wondering if someone can settle my mind.

TTC first baby, had some symptoms but AF arrived early so I figured I was out for this month. Was away for the weekend for a concert so thought ‘sod it’ and had a drink.

AF is normally quite consistant (dark coloured, bad cramps etc) but this one is totally different, bright red/pink was only one day (light) with spotting either side. I did wonder if it it could be an implantation bleed but I’ve tested negative.

Not sure what to make of it :0/

Where in your cycle are you? You will test negative if it's an implantion bleed - for several days after, potentially. I'd take a FRER (First Response pregnancy test) which can tel you if you're pregnant or not up to 6 days before your missed period. Before this, any test will be negtive. Hope you get the result you want.

Thanks so much @squiff - I was due on Saturday but came Friday, that’s why I just assumed. It wasn’t more about the lack of cramping/colour etc which had been consistent. I took a FR which came up negative so I guess that’s me out Confused.

I didn’t give it a second thought until it stopped suddenly.

Hey Hun, if AF 🧙‍♀️ arrived when you were suppose to start your period then it is not likely to be implantation bleeding especially if it’s red in colour, if it’s slightly pink then it could be because of a change in your hormone. I was trying to conceive for 5months and my cycle was different every month, I guess it was because I was paying too much attention to every little detail! Everytime AF came I looked into the symptoms hoping I conceived. However when I did conceive I had no PMS symptoms and no period. I period are on the clock so when I tested after 4 days I got my BFP. Don’t worry too much because eventually it will happen for you! Don’t lose hope! This is just my experience but you never know every woman is different. 😘 sending lots of baby dust your way! Xxx
