I'm around 8/9DPO and since yesterday morning I have mild pain on lower right side and lower back right side.
Last night it became sharper needle like pain. Now its throbbing on off pain but general heavy dull feeling in the lower region. This morning the pain woke me up as it became a sharp throbbing pain like someone poking with a needle from inside.
I'm scared because I don't know if implantation can be this painful/sharp pains. I don't know if its worth going to a&e.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? How long has it lasted?
Other symptoms I've had in past few days: head cold, dizziness, smell sensitive, extreme hunger/loss of appetite, mildly tender breasts

This sounds like a strange question but do you also have pain in one or both shoulders? If the pain is unbearable you need to go to A&E.

No I don't have shoulder pain. I did think it could be ectopic pregnancy but I've also heard that sometimes implantation is very painful for some.

My implantation pain was as you describe but only lasted 3–4 hours.

Did it feel similar to ovulation pain? I had that yesterday morning too, lasted about 4 hours. I'm CD 24.

I went to a&e as the pain was quite bad. They did various scans but crossed out ectopic pregnancy, implantation pain, pregnancy, kidney stones, appendicitis, however they feel it could be a ruptured ovary. They've admitted me :(

Thank you, I'm still in hospital but my ovaries are fine (thank God!!) They think it's a kidney infection but not sure. Really got happy thinking its implantation and finally our month :(
