We've been ttc for 18 months now. I have 1 dc and he's 2 and a half. Before he came along I had 2 miscarriages.
I have severe endometriosis and it's causing fertility problems and the specialist said it's unlikely I will get pregnant without ivf and/or surgery.
So I'm having an operation to remove the endometriosis but the waiting time for the op is about 5 months. Then I will need about 6 weeks to recover.
The other issue I have is that I'm 40 now and I keep being told by the professionals that my time is running out.
I'm broken as I feel I've let my DH and my ds down by not being able to complete our family.
Could I ask how much people have paid for ivf and how many rounds you have had. I'm sorry that this is a personal question but the doctors give me vague answers and I don't have anyone irl to ask.

Yes I had immunology for my 4th cycle, changed clinic, and had twins that cycle. It was a long hard road over 5 years. I would not do it if I already had a child.

Congratulations on your eventual success. 5 years is a long time, it must have been very stressful.
