Very early symptoms you are pregnant

Thought I would share my early symptoms I got this time around, as I recently got the positive. Like my last two pregnancies, my symptoms were very much like period was on the way. Except I think I felt a little more bloated. I had the first signs of spotting as well. I was so sure my period was coming I brought along two packets of pads and a box of tampons on holiday! I’ve started to get more tired and still feel very bloated. My breasts now seem fuller. I also noticed twinges on what I think was my cervix (couldn’t really tell, but it was inside downthere). And I thought to myself that’s odd. It did make me think pregnancy. I decided to test as my spotting never progressed. It was positive the day my period was due. I had one drop of blood so I thought maybe a chemical, but since then no more blood.

If anyone else remembers their early symptoms share. Oh yea, I also noticed the last week I had weird taste in my mouth so would brush my teeth mid day. And use mouth wash.

I suppose the only way to know for sure is test again. It sounds promising though if you haven't continued to bleed.

My signs were cramps and really sore / heavy boobs..

Good luck x

I woke up caked in sweat and my sweat smelt quite sicky. It was so weird. That was the day I got my BFP. 4 days before I had implantation bleeding (enough to need a pad when I got up and then a liner), and I'd been tired and dizzy. After my test I had period like cramps and a weird tugging sensation in my pelvis.

My resting heart rate went up. I have a tracker on my wrist in place of a watch, so to see my average resting heart rate increase after possible implantation was a sign this time and last. This was before a bfp too.

OP do you mind me asking - how long did the spotting last and how long before AF was it? I've been spotting this month since CD25 (today I am CD28) my cycles are between 30-33 days. Its hardly anything, not even enough for a liner. I normally spot 2 days before AF but still no AF.

Yakadee there are no questions about it, I’m pregnant. I did a clear blue digital at end of day drinking loads of water to make me pee and it said 2-3 weeks. I was just starting this thread as others are always wanting to know symptoms before you get your positive. 😀

Buddyelf it was more like the start of spotting, but not actually spotting. So if I wipes there would be a tinge of pink mixed w cervical mucus. This started 4 days before I got my positive (tested day my period was due). Day I got positive I had a drop of blood which scared me. But that was it. After that everything became clear discharge. Annoyingly I keep having discharge so I keep going to bathroom to wipe and check but all clear now since (it’s been 3 days). So crossing fingers. I have two dc and this is my third pregnancy. It took us a little longer trying for the third. First two were first cycle trying. This one was cycle 6 or 7 (lost track as some months we skipped trying). I was shocked when I actually got a positive. Was so sure period was on the way I had pads and tampons with me on holiday! I only tested though bc we were drinking daily and wanted to make sure as my spotting didn’t progress to more as it usually does. Still can’t beleive it.

Forgot to mention I normally spot 3 days before my period. But there have been times 4 days! Or two days. But usually if I spot it progresses.

Good post idea!

Early symptoms I had in my first and current pregnancy:
Waking up at night a lot
Needing a wee in the early hours
Bumpy nipples
Easier to O/multiple O

Just this one:
One small dot of brown CM at 10dpo; usually spot couple of days before period. Nothing at all in first pg, just this dot this time
Heartburn and hiccups from 3dpo
Tiredness, more yawning and nodding off
Chills and goosebumps when tired
Nipples seem stiff and act 'cold' so look like I'm smuggling smarties

My early symptoms after IVF:

Mild stuffy nose. I worried at the time that I was coming down with something and that it might affect my chances of pregnancy. It never developed into a cold, but persisted for ages. I now think it was Pregnancy Rhinitis.

A subtle quivering in my uterus one morning, about five days after my five-day-embryo transfer. I put my hand on my abdomen and could feel the quivering from the outside. This only happened once.

On the same morning, I stretched out my arms while lying in bed and felt sharp pains shoot up each side of my abdomen, as though I’d just pulled the muscles. This happened a few times in early pregnancy.
