Too early to get a positive test

Ok, i posted last week about coming off the injection but had no response.

So i am currently 5 days late for my period. Judging by the last two i have had (came off the depo last May, periods returned December)

i done a test on Saturday - negative. Then again first wee Sunday morning - again, negative.

Was i too early? Should i do another, or put this down to irregular periods?

I would do another tomorrow morning – ideally a sensitive one like FRER – and if you're still getting BFNs and your period hasn't started by the end of the week, it might be worth getting in touch with your GP because by then you'll have missed the period completely. Good luck x

Is that a first response test? Also what does bfn mean?
