35+ days cycles - success stories?

Hey all! So heres my info....
Age 27
TTC cycle 4
Cycle length 39 days

Just wondered how many success stories there were out there with longer cycles? Also did you ovulate 14 days before af? Or was it earlier/later? =)

Hopefully theres some out there =) feeling negative today!

Me! My cycles vary between 35-37 days. Currently 17 weeks pregnant with number 3 and according to my dates I ovulated exactly 14 days before af would have been due - my 12 week scan put me back by almost a week due to long cycles and not fitting the standard due date calculator. Good luck 😊

Following this one as my cycles are 33-37! Hoping this is not a hindrance xx

@justanother123 congratulations and thanks for sharing! I think i just get frustrated as i have less chance to conceive per year than someone on 28 cycle! Do you remember what cycle you conceived on?

Cycle 4. First cycle using clear blue ovulation kit which I would highly recommend. Try not to worry 😊

@justanother123 thankyou! So hard not to worry, i get all these thoughts in my head that its never going to happen! I am using clear blue opks this cycle =) af is due on 8th may, so 14 days before would be 23rd april. Ive started testing today just incase =D

@Luckylola12 I'm on CD 24 at the moment. And on my 6th day of flashing smileys on Clearblue Advanced OPK so lord knows when I'm actually going to ovulate 😂 xx

Hi there - wanted to give you some positive stories. I had long cycles - 42 days plus. I had one miscarriage. I had scans and was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. I had a burst cyst. I was having fertility tests including blood tests day 1, day 14 etc and told by the doctor that I was not ovulating the same cycle that I got our first BFP. We have 3 lovely dc's now.

@emmyloucuddles wow thats alot of smileys thats great! Im yet to get any, but my ovulation calender says 18th - 23rd so fingers crossed! Good luck, keep me upated, any symptons etc =D

@FanSpamTastic thankyou so much for sharing your story! Im so glad it turned out well for you =) i feel more positive now! Just need to relax and not let it turn me into a crazy obsessed person!

My ‘cycle’ was always thoroughly irregular and extremely long....up to 55 days😳.... Ovulation sticks were only just becoming mainstream so for my first 2 I had to just monitor bodily changes (ie discharge..sorry if tmi🙈). BUT it worked😁... I have 3 kids and didn’t have to wait too long for any of them)....though when I was ‘in the zone’ my dh found it quite exhausting🤣. I really understand the frustration of literally having half the opportunity others do but keep going and have patience💐. Now that I’ve ‘finished’ and would quite like half the periods I’m regular & normal🤦🏼‍♀️.

@blinkingblimey wow thats a long cycle! Im trying ovulation strips this month but no positive yet, fingers crossed! I have been trying to keep an eye on cervical mucus aswell! We are trying to dtd every other day this week as it should be my fertile window i think! Going to try preseed aswell! Thanks for sharing =D feeling much better now!
