Faint positive on FRER

Hey everyone,
I had an ERPC on February 25th this year and have had one cycle after this. I think my cycles are settling back to normal but may now be a bit shorter?
Anyway, I'm CD18 today and for some reason I decided to do a FRER. It's come back as a really faint positive and not sure how it's even possible?! Please could someone look at this and share any insights? I don't want to get my hopes up but at the same time I see a definite line?!

Yep, that's a line! Congrats FlowersSmile

UPDATE
So I’ve taken another FRER this morning and very much the same result, a faint positive. I did a CB Digital but that came back as not pregnant.
Really hoping this is the month! Any ideas?

How many days past ovulation are you? I would expect the line to be darker 48 hours later but both need to be taken with first morning wee to do a proper comparison. Frers are more sensitive than digital also I've had a positive test and not pregnant on a digital but gone on to have a healthy pregnancy.
If your tests are not getting darker in a few days or fainter it could possibly be a chemical pregnancy (hate that term!) but hope all works out ok

Kinsters · 15/04/2019 14:15

Definitely a line! I'd wait a couple of days and then try the CB digital again. They're not as sensitive as FRERs.

DieCryHate · 15/04/2019 14:48

Definitely a line there. It took 3-4 days for my pregnancy to register on clearblue after faint positives on FRER.

Congratulations!

kell2126 · 15/04/2019 14:50

congrats – I see a line on both!

kell2126 · 15/04/2019 14:50

and the line looks darker on the second test Grin

DoraNora · 15/04/2019 14:54

Perhaps you ovulated very early? My successful cycle was early ovulation (never happened before) and I got a blazing positive on 11DPO, which was actually only CD19.

The tests do look positive, 🤞🏻🤞🏻 they just get stronger.

Samind · 15/04/2019 14:55

Second test looks darker!! 💐🥰

Michellebops · 15/04/2019 15:12

Have you had a period since your erpc?

Tomandnic1 · 15/04/2019 20:27

Hey again @michellebops! Yes I’ve had a period and blood tests to confirm all was back to normal after ERPC!
Thanks for your input ladies, it’s so so early I don’t want to get my hopes up but at the same time there are lines there...! Xx

Delighted for you

#Tomandnic1 I just thought I would pipe in. After reading your thread I wanted to say congratulations. I hope this time it works out for you. We miscarried back in Feb after 5 week. I’ve had a normal period since then and I’m due to come on this weekend. Got everything crossed it works out this time...I’m 8/9 dpo usually have breast tenderness but it seems to have disappeared today so I’m not holding out much hope. Nice to read your news though all the best x

chloe9991 · 17/04/2019 08:38

Deffo positive hun!!!❤️❤️❤️

Tomandnic1 · 17/04/2019 12:46

Fingers crossed that it works out! Going to leave it a week or so as I’ve tested really early and then test again. Thank you for the support ladies! 😘

Please help me! I know it’s only been 5 days since these pictures but I’ve done plenty of FRERS since these last few. All faint positives, but I’ve done a digital one today and it says Not Pregnant! Am I still testing too early or have I got to wait until next month?

Catconfusion · 20/04/2019 15:04

Hey @Tomandnic1 sorry you're in this position. Are the FRERs getting darker? If so I wouldn't be too worried. I hope it's ok. I had another loss straight after my missed miscarriage so know how frustrating it is to be in limbo. Are you getting any pregnancy symptoms?

All you can do is try again in a couple of days. Xx

ahem12345 · 21/04/2019 06:25

Sorry OP after 5 days would very much expect a digital to turn positive by now? Frer has a sensitivity as low as 6 hcg - if you double this every 2 days then you should have reached threshold for a digital which is 25hcg by now? If you continue to get positive first response and negative digital I would speak to a doctor in case of ectopic x
