Positive ovulation test

Due on yesterday no sign of AF. No pregnancy test a friend recommended I use the ovulation test as it would also pick up hormones. The ovulation test is positive. Could this mean I'm pregnant or could my hormones be high as I may be due on?
I know the easiest way to find out is a pregnancy test but stuck indoors with no car. DH said he will get a test but he isn't home till later and I'm abit all over the place

Could be either or :) OPKs can detect a spike before your af but also detects pregnancy as the hormones are very similar.

I would do a test in the morning and see.

Just done a pregnancy test it's positive!  In complete shock but very happy. Thank you both hope you get the result you want to @Novella12
